Was lucky enough to go to the Scots game and met a lot of boys eager to watch some quality footy. A poor turnout for newington but didn’t affect their game. Good to see the Scots boys get up as I played many light years ago. Have heard a lot of controversy around the last Scots try to win, does anyone have sufficient evidence?

Christ alive.

I never thought a premiership hangover could be so large.

I did think Newington would be rock bottom but apparently not.

I think our premiership for the next 30 years has been secured, and I am contempt with that.

Well done Kings, it should be a clash for the ages between them and TKS for the title.

The King's School have rocketed into the Points and Try scoring lead unsurpisingly.

Bailey Roberts-Lintmeijer (Newington) continues the try-scoring lead as he nicked a pie against TSC (a note, 7 tries by this time of year is insane. For reference, this is 3 more than the leader at this time last year)

Although a bad day with the boot by his standards, Callum Grantham (Newington) remains on top of the pointscoring ladder, although a massive weekend from both Ashton Tregonnig (Kings) and Angus Grover (Riverview) puts them somewhat near.

Shore now sit 93 points away from the next closest side on points differential as both by far the worst offensive and defensive team.

Is anyone aware of the official rules regarding language on the field? Newington copped a yellow this weekend after the New try scorer got up and swore after his try (not sure what he said).

Here for the advice

Kings well deserved win their front row set the standard from scrum one!! I expect 2/3 to be in GPS1’s and the No8 is less spoken of vs others but has to be one of the top forwards in the competition I would have him at 8 and move the others to the sides or GPS2’s.

Looking at the Kings forward pack, the number 6 toia sure is a battle hard player. Was not meant to play this week however with Dubriage ruling himself out late he stepped in and was phenomenal again.

doesn’t get much credit when the likes off fonua and that dominant front row are in his team, however he has been outstanding.

Going to be a tight contest for the front-row selections this year. Riverview Tight Five looks like an absolute machine and the factory floor of a lot of View victories this year along with Sir Gus Grover (Jesuit knighthood pending). Against the traditional stereotype for View who normally gear more towards flashy outside backs.

Great to see the competition within the competition!

What was the drama? Looked like a fairly clear dive on the blindside from Streamer. Ref soft signalled try, then confirmed with linesman. In any event Scots held a penalty advantage at the time from a few phases before.
Was deep into extra time however.

Keen to hear everyone’s views on the games from yesterday as the website was down.
View from non-neutral.

Strange to say, but View could have won by more had they not got on the wrong side of the ref and the decisions for periods of the match. The inconsistency around highball adjudication was probably the thing that stuck out most to me. If you are going to protect the receiving man in the air when both are trying to fetch, then it has to apply equally to both sides. The deliberate knockdown yellow from a View interception merchant was also garbage and just fortunately too late in the game to have any material impact.
