According to the Times, the Lions will be hard pressed to field a decent THP. Lots of injuries, apparently.

Ross being rotated out is tactical. Tupaea and Jacobson are both big ins but that injury list is long for the Chiefs. Josh Lord is a loss, Vai'i is in great form but ya need two good locks.

Carved in stone regardless of results I'd think. Best ref going around so should get the GF with Berry as an AR. TMO selection could unfortunately be crucial.

Min 0-75: Chiefs "keep it tight" with their laughably ineffective U-90kg Junior Killdozer, making 3.2 metres in 682 phases over 75 minutes..... yet with 5 mins to go they are still down by 5 pts.
Min 76-80; Chiefs, exasperated, go full hot potato but get driven ever backwards. They are between the halfway line and their own 22 when the final whistle blows, still down by 5 pts.

TLDR Chiefs finish top of the table then get tipped over at home by the worst qualifier, then get gifted ANOTHER home semi by the dipshit Soup format, then get tipped over at home AGAIN to complete a monster home playoff run back-to-back choke for the ages. They then file a court injunction with Super Rugby asking for a third home semi because they "weren't quite ready" for the first two.:D

Yeah I thought early in the season, the chiefs where very beatable we just played dumb rugby, last night we were beaten by a better team...

Main failures for me were the lineout and the back three failing to defuse the highball. They also didnt manage the ruck dominance they got against the Canes.

Thought Berry was okay. Couple of bizarre calls but thats an excellent performance in the context of this season.
