Does anyone have the results from all of joeys opens team all from the weekend.
Visne unum?I guess "Venimus, vidimus, et superbia nostra nobis exitium peperit" was just too long to fit on a band![]()
I’d have to agree with that, notwithstanding that Ghattas is very high quality. His point of difference is that he can cover 2 and 7, but not sure this will be enoughI think Smith from Kings has the #2 in the bag.
the Scots 8 scenario sets a very poor precedent. Is this correct? Not sure that's how it works.
I understand that the teams involved and the next opponents' reps sat it out. So it would have been Kings, New and Scots saying: "A chance to weaken View against Joeys and improve our own schools' relative positions? F*&k yeah."
Glad the play didn't work. It shouldn't have been a red on Garling in the first place. There were no hands, but there also was no head contact, and he was visibly pulling out of the contact. Meanwhile Lemoto knocks some kids block off same round, resulting in injury, with no action.
The same ref also awarded a weak AF Shore scrum a bunch of penalties as they were being physically demolished, including for, get this, Riverview pushing too much.
Mate he didn't get a card, don't think he can get suspended, can someone confirm?? @JokerIs this correct? Not sure that's how it works.

It is up to the Conduct Committee. This is all amateur. The rule of thumb is red card equals one week unless the committee has information that indicates it was an error (ie no suspension). Very unlikely to recommend more than that but there have been instances where the school has provided a higher sanction. For non carded items it requires an official complaint (not the right word but you get the gist) for the committee to consider. The is very uncommon and would generally be a race to the bottom if actively pursued. The Scots 8 tackle falls into this category. Such is life and happens in the pro ranks so cannot be unexpected here.Mate he didn't get a card, don't think he can get suspended, can someone confirm?? @Joker
Not sure. it would be really difficult not to have him there even if he is in yr11. He has preformed really well in school and also in the u18 Tahs earlier this year. Will be interesting to see how selections go. Anyone know when they are actually released?I see, then Bloomfield will not be picked as he is only in year 11.
it is disgraceful if an obvious case of play can’t be sanctioned because the ref missed it. Every 1st and 2nd grade game is broadcast, this particular situation was both clear and dangerous.Mate he didn't get a card, don't think he can get suspended, can someone confirm?? @Joker
There is a process under rugby Australia Diciplinary Rules that allows a citing of a player by a club or union at all levels of Australian domestic rugby so I would think school boy rugby is bound by that procedure if someone was prepared to cite a player. How would you recommend that a Citing Process would work to handle these situations? For professional rugby, there is an independent Citing Officer which I don’t believe is feasible for schoolboy rugby OR other schools would have to cite each other. Schools would be very reluctant to do that.
I am aware that both Schools are in discussions.Mate he didn't get a card, don't think he can get suspended, can someone confirm?? @Joker
