How come Randwick council can put up 15 mill for a new surf club down the road at Maroubra but can’t kick in for a new Randwick Rugby clubhouse?

I'm just guessing, but maybe the local community wants a new surf club more than they want a new Randwick Rugby Clubhouse?

it's almost like one provides a service and directly benefits the community and the other doesn't. Randwick Rugby once had $millions in rugby scholarship funds and a license to print money in a pokies club but lost it all through poor management.. now they can beg for funding from the local councilI'm just guessing, but maybe the local community wants a new surf club more than they want a new Randwick Rugby Clubhouse?

Go and watch the Galloping Greens at Coogee and tell me that isn’t a service pal.it's almost like one provides a service and directly benefits the community and the other doesn't. All the Qld teams have club houses/home bases.How come Randwick council can put up 15 mill for a new surf club down the road at Maroubra but can’t kick in for a new Randwick Rugby clubhouse?
