Apart from passes that could be not forward, I not sure how right it was, but on was hearing on tv that on stats on games, the Fijians had 77 quick balls (1-3 seconds) from rucks. That would be something Schmidt and co would be working like hell on that, that would be a gift to a top team.

This. I truly hope there was a light touch approach last weekend, though bewildering in a test environment, as the lack of line speed in defence and easy ruck ball was a far bigger concern than any forward passes. If they don’t defend like the Tahs they’ll be belted - the old adage of “who wants it more”. Passive defence will not work against a top tier outfit.

What's the point of having all these line breaking attributes if he wastes the opportunity.

No-one is doubting his running game but we saw twice in 80 minutes that he blew two tries. The spin you're trying here is up with Donald Trump.

No-idea why you cant take legitimate critiscm of one of your prince's BR.
2 of his princes cost us 3 tries on the weekend.

Well, quite clearly he can pass left to right as evidenced by his play all Super season. As Matthew Burke said on BTP on Monday night, Potter needed to be 2m further behind Wright andf 2m closer to him. Put Muirhead outside Wright in those two instances and more likely two tries would have been scored. It was the combination that was lacking, not the pass.

Couldn't agree more BITD, I thought the defence looked passive, but am wondering if maybe there was just some adjustments being made to systems. The good thing? There is a week and a bit to sort it, and better to notice it now than next week.

I mean it was an attempted joke but it’s the also fact that wright blew 2 tries (argued it was potter fault which I don’t buy) and Noah caused the one before half time.
‘Royal’ stuff ups.
