Our scrum at least wouldn’t have crumbled against fijiI reckon Eddie's fate would have been much different if Skelton and Tupou played the Fiji and Wales games in 2023!!

Sure. But if you want to pick International players for test matches you need to get the players, agents, players associations, and unions on the same page. South Africa is doing this. It took time, but its working. Contracts are negotiated with a clear expectations. Why would Australia have any say in a contract between Skelton and La Rochelle?
What the ? Nonggorr did a solid 20 mins shift - he held the scrum strong and in the line out he did a huge lift for Williams which enabled him to do the steal - even the Stan commentators made mention of it. His work rate was high - In his 20 mins he completed 7 tackles - whereas in their 60 mins Slips and TT completed 6 and 5 respectively each. He had 4 carries - and Slips and TT 6 each. Slips and especially TT were great in the scrum - but Nonggorr held his own and did his job. I’m not going to bag Tom from the week before as it’s bloody hard work out there. But seriously - Nonggorr did good work - he matched the increased pace of the bench, his D was excellent and kept the intensity going. He’s 24 mate. He’s young and developing well. Slips is 35, AAA 31 and TT 29. We have depth. On both sides. Enough of the negativity. So what's the deal with Tupou? Buggering off is he? Does he remain in the 4N squad? Seems to have got himself off the couch. TH prop is a real problem. Nongorr was not much better than Robinson. How the heck did Aus rugby not stay in the loop in Skelton's contract negotiations to make sure he remains available when needed with compensation? They dropped a huge ball.
Any news on if Carter Gordon is keen to return to union?Lyngah out of the Springboks Tests
The amount of head injuries he has had is extremely worrying for such a young guyLyngah out of the Springboks Tests
Where’s this reported?Lyngah out of the Springboks Tests
JOC (James O'Connor)? Edmed? So who's the back up 10 for the tour? Could Beale get a look in?
Squad on Wednesday I believeWhere’s this reported?
was the squad supposed to be announced today?
Please no. He looked off the pace in the tour match he played in.So who's the back up 10 for the tour? Could Beale get a look in?

Has he even played?Any news on if Carter Gordon is keen to return to union?
League has been a disaster for him and I think he would still be our best option at 10.
For some reason this just doesn’t compute in my head. That means that Slipper was like 24 when they first trained together professionally for the Reds. Am I old?Slips is 35, AAA 31 and TT 29.
Actually - I missed a birthday - Slips is now 36 ! He seems to be aging backwards !For some reason this just doesn’t compute in my head. That means that Slipper was like 24 when they first trained together professionally for the Reds. Am I old?
Move on to who? Lolesio and Lynagh out, Donaldson will travel, Edmed has been called up - JOC (James O'Connor) has been sounded out if he is able/willing to travel. Seems completely necessary to take him (or see if Foley is available) because who is next? I'd say Debrazcini but he is finishing up. HMP and Meredith are nowhere near being able to be Super Rugby starters, let alone Wallaby tourists.Definitely won’t be O’Connor, heard him on a podcast the other day and he was pretty clear he was flying straight out for a quick holiday on the way to Uk. We need to move on anyway
I'd think his performances vs the Chiefs and Blues this year show he's more than capable of being a Super Rugby starterMove on to who? I'd like to see a lot more then 2 ok games before we promote to Wallaby status. I suspect he will continue his development as the bench man at the brumbies, with occassional opportunities to start just like this year.I'd think his performances vs the Chiefs and Blues this year show he's more than capable of being a Super Rugby starter
To be fair he was more than ok, was probably the best player on the field vs the Blues. I wouldn't be surprised if he beats out Edmed next year. I'm not advocating for him, but we need to build depth at some point. Constantly bringing David Knox or Dally messenger into the team every time there are injuries isn't developing depthI'd like to see a lot more then 2 ok games before we promote to Wallaby status.
