Rugby Championship 2025: Wallabies v Argentina

Hudson Creighton or Ollie Sapsford obviously
Nice to see some recognition even if underpinned by sarcasm by an alien fan. Brumbies backs usually don't get a mention even though they have been part of the most successful Aus side in recent years. For example, when looking at options for No 12 there is silence about Feliuai but talk about Walton and Henry when neither has had as successful year or more as Feliuai. Paisami and Stewart are in the Wallaby squad but Feliuai should rightly be the next in conversations.

Man.. lynagh is not a better ‘pure’ 10 than anyone of the other options we have. He is still a baby, and could be great- can we stop with the Hyperbole until he has played more than a handful of games at some competent level (read he has not done so yet).
Yes RR, hyperbole exactly...although it is a touchy subject on here.

Hopefully it's largely academic, but based on the fact that Joey Walton has been called into the squad to fill training gaps on a few occasions I reckon he is next in Joe's pecking order. Anyways, back to next week's game....

Think you'll find KOB that Feliuai has been around more Wallaby squads than Walton.

There's a lot of similarities between Jordan and Matt To'omua outside of the school they both went to.

AI tells me the following for Jordan and Matt's first 7 seasons

Matt then went on to have a pretty handy 2015 campaign for the Wallabies if memory serves me correctly.
Mike Wilbon on PTI often says the most important ability is availability. This is what JP is missing.

He had truly amazing abilities but always seems like a rocks and diamonds type player to me, when he was available.

Aussie Joe seems to be pretty conservative with his selections and not making wholesale changes. I am predicting this;

1. Slipper
2. Pollard
3.Tupou
4. Frost
5. Williams
6. Valetini
7. McReight
8. Wilson (c)
9. White
10. O'Connor
11. Toole
12. Ikitau
13. JAS
14. Jorgensen
15. Kellaway

16. BPA
17. Bell
18. AAA
19. LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)
20. Hooper
21. McDermott
22. Lynagh
23. Potter

We should win there's a lot of hype about Argentina going around but NZ were very poor in test 2, and beat them easily away from home in test 1 while being far from their best.

Arg lost twice at home to England missing 15+ first choice players
