Harry Wilson has a massive motor. Every time there is a break he’s there to support. May not have the best feet at contact geez but he’s a genuine footy player.
He is a great leader too. I love how he will discipline his players on the field; he is in charge. He truly leads by example by giving 100% the entire game.

I know some would argue he does not deserve the 8 jersey but I think his captaincy makes up for what he may lack compared to other 8 options.

Started typing something about the 10 debate (yawn) but fuck that. Glad we got away with the win despite being well short of our best. Backrow + Hooper and Ikitau outstanding. Backing us to be better vs their rush and breakdown pressure next week.

Also Suallii showed a glimpse of his potential at 13 in the second half, which was especially pleasing after some poor early imvolvements. They just have to keep pickingand sticking there. Hopefully some time for a backup 12 (Paisami I guess) on the northern tour

But Harry and Fraser live in QLD
Harry Wilson is from Gunnedah, the home of many top union and league players, my favourite being john ("johnny" / "dallas") donnelly in the 70's who played for Wests & for australia in one test against nz. when he first played for Gunnedah high school open team he was in year 9 and played sub HALF-BACK ! (i was the hooker) & his brother & cousins (Brian & Terry (who played for Qld))

3 bays of Pumas supporters have sold out next Saturday behind the posts southern end and Geez they’ll make some noice. Fine weather forecast but a lot cooler so more running rugby on the cards. Let’s hope we dont see that ref again!

Geez if we could kick a penalty goal or two that would be great… lots of games where a big deficit turns into a close game - and we’ve not taken the 3 from in front in the first 20 minutes!

BOK, Doleman and Williams do a good job of overcomplicating an already complicated game.
I knew we were in for a long day after seeing how he reffed the reds canes match this year.

I’m not a fan of Paul Williams - but hats off to him for being prepared to change his decision on the Tate quick tap. I reckon there are a few refs who wouldn’t.
