Yeah Tahs are gonna smoke the reds imo. Also keen to see Netani play, he certainly looks like he has a fun skill set at fly half.
From a NSW supporters POV sure I'd love that but these games get tight and NSW has found a way to stumble in the 19s. QLD lads will be up for it.

NSW backrow are exceptional. When fatigue sets in Le Matire goes to work and is a nightmare. The front row are also great. Langi a huge human who is then replaced by an equally large human. Mayberry was also great around the park with genuine size at Hooker.

Not sure what they've been feeding some of the boys but Watts on the Wing is a tank and Fittler hasn't missed a meal ever.

What's the go with Cooper Watters? I find it very odd he hasn't been selected or mentioned in the Tahs U19 team.
Big and elite in the air, one RA definitely needs to keep.

Feel for the Reds Front row really. They have an ok set up but are completely out muscled. Have to be 10-15kg lighter per man at least.

Height in at Lock which QLD is always good for but they are also too high at scrum time.

Tahs front row very strong with two powerful locks, but they still pack quite high. Are they all still available for the 20s WC next year?

At least in age terms yes - the point of running this comp as under 19s in the second half of the year is that it's effectively the start of the under 20s season for the next year.

Physically the NSW side dominated their opposite position across the park in that one. I thought it'd be closer but @Adam84 called it with the lack of size. I expected more from the Reds locks. Very big prototype players but wasn't used in contact. Game plan was also very one out so easy to defend.

I will say the Reds 8 was going all game and didn't pack it in. Plug him into a side of boppers moving forward and making space and he's a problem.

Just checking as both props went this year. Alarming drop in depth behind the NSW crew of props. Backrow options look strong and the Force have some good outside backs to add to the mix. The Force halfbacks mullet should see him selected straight away.

Those Force outside Backs got cut to pieces by NSW the week before. Besides Charlie it'd surprise me to see many.

There's likely a spot half locked away for Cooper Watters as well who must be injured but is back and only 18. Arguably the best back in the 20s last season.

Reds 13 was looking to get involved quite a bit and isn't small but always hard when you are getting it behind the ad line and the NSW players pushing into your face .

Am loving Wingers around Aus having pace again and not just being unskilled centres/battering rams like they were for a few years. In the pros we have Jorgo, Toole, Pietsch, Reilly, Ryan, Lancaster, Grealy then these young guys like Farr-Jones, Cloete had some go about them.

Feels nice watching guys use space well.

The current crop of under 18s props are very strong, at least from QLD. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of them in next years under 20s squad, particularly Rangawai who was a late call up to the under 20s this year, and Uys who is super talented if a bit young.
