From a Force perspective it does make sense. Poor bugger couldn’t get on the field and takes a spot in the squad.
Pro sports can be cruel but if he’s up to it there’s more avenues to play. MLR is an option or go plug away like Hoskins did and made a great career for himself in the long run.

I'm all for this. Force with NB, Tahs UA can hopefully keep throwing out some new designs on things. Gotta say I find it a bit boring when everyone is with the same supplier so all we get are the same designs in different colour schemes.

I assume this will be another Belgravia kit (made under the New Balance licence), same as the Drua currently have (and a bunch of AFL teams). They also did the AU/NZ and Pacifika/First Nations jerseys this year:

I've heard mixed things about the quality of their kit, but that maybe improving if they're stepping up their team arrangements and really pushing the New Balance branding. But the only real question right now is probably "Will it have a collar?" Given the AU/NZ jersey did there's at least a reasonable chance of that.

Some of the New Balance stuff is great, including their generic cotton rugby jerseys, but I don't think there is any manufacturing cross over with that stuff and Belgravia who have been doing the sport specific kit in Australia and New Zealand.
That said, the complaints I've heard about there kit was mostly about Drua jerseys not lasting well after a year or two, and they've been doing them since 2021 so there is definitely room for them to have improved. I think they do a few club kits in QPR now too - anyone playing for Bond able to comment?

Very interesting pre-season video from the Western Force today. Chlayton Frans from Waratahs Super Rugby AUS team at pre-season. Jackson Ropata another Waratahs player seen in the video. Finally and probably the most interesting was that Taj Annan (Ex-Reds midfielder) in the video there? Signed for Newcastle in Rugby Loooge last year leaving the Reds which I thought was very disappointing. I might be mistaken, but geez it looks like him. What a pickup!
