I know it’s early for the 2026 GPS Qld season, but does anyone know the fixtures for next year yet? Thanks

Great, thanks. My son reckons it will be the same as the Term 1 GPS cricket fixtures so will check those out, when they’re published.

I’d say Nudgee again with the backline they can put out again next year will be hard to contain…..but State High has about 7 boys in the Qld U16 squad, with most having played some games for the 1st VX this year. Some of their forwards should be back for a third year playing firsts and should be tough to beat as a pack.

Did see an article recently talking about their possible backline for 2026, but Chilli Smith, Billy Spicer and Barry Taukolo returning next year would be good to watch
Nudgee 12, 13, 14 - Bradley, Spicer and Taukolo returning. Then you have Grimshaw back from injury, Poluleuligaga who came back from injury in 2nds for last few games, Eli Rauluni had some time off the bench this year. They all aren’t going to fit. Someone unfortunately will miss out, pretty good lineup. The 10 will be interesting call by the coaches

TGS lose a lot of strike power with the loss of tusi, myles, rupeni but still have kruger, cook, tulikaki and burrow, and upcoming talents like seth chapman as well as plenty of new imports.

gosh that nudgee team was good, too bad ben sciacca missed the entire season, keen to see him back for his 3 year senior.
