Wallabies v Italy - 9 November

Maybe it's my bias coming through - not sure how much of a fan of a team anyone is when they just consistently talk them down and put the boot in.

Maybe I'm just getting old and grumpy.
Talk em up, talk em down it's the same result each year.
It's like supporting Essendon or the West Tigers.

Sure but you could also argue it the other way, in that if you are happy to just smile and clap every week watching your team lose, maybe you aren’t that much of a fan

the criticism, from me anyway, comes from a place of frustration and hurt watching the team we support fall apart week after week while they run the same failing attack system and failing defence system

We are fans we’ve watched every game for years and years our frustration is because we really want to win for once and we’re sick of the same errors, inconsistency etc.

Ellis Park now looks like one of the greatest a) bed shits by South Africa b) fluke wins by Australia, of all time
I don't know, we were still very competitive a week later in Cape town, as we were for the last 2 Lions tests. I think it's more indicative of how focused our preparation under Schmidt had been on the Lions tour and peaking for it, alongside our fairly thin depth that has seen us really suffer without Wright and McDermott in particular.

Don’t you get annoyed watching us consistently loose each week

It was clearly targeted at people who never post here except to complain after a loss.
Why the quotation mark around the word fans?

Because maybe guy who lives in Argentina who has previously been banned from the forum and only came here to post after the Wallabies had a poor loss is better described as a troll rather than a fan.

Thanks for reading between the lines :)
