I got the feeling there that Rassie’s plan was to keep packing scrums and get a player carded each time, I’m glad the ref didn’t send another one off when he awarded the penalty try. He can do weird shit like midfield lineouts as much as he likes but that’s just poor sportsmanship. On another note, why can’t Ireland fuck up this much when they are playing us.
He did yc one with PT mate. I didn't see him do it, bit Ireland went down to 12 players for a minute or so.

Yeah I mean they were trying to milk another one after the yellow card, it was the next scrum he awarded the penalty try on but he didn’t YC anyone. Rassie sent the bench props on in between scrum resets.

In the end it was a determined effort by Ireland.

WR (World Rugby) need to sort their shit out. Irish lock would have been marched to the firing squad last week but get a yellow with review this week.
For the rest I thought the ref did well in a very hectic game.

Geez a few supporters were upset when a couple of Wallabies weren't available for test match against England? Wales have 13 players leaving their squad before test against Boks next weekend to return to play for clubs!

Yeah, I guess scheduling a test against a Tier 1 team outside the Reg 9 window is all about the dollars. The main source of the angst was that the clubs didn't even have games on when we played England.

Elliot Daly making a simple tackle off a high ball and celebrating the penalty like he won the World Cup is why everyone hates England and wanted argies to win that game
I think it's the other way around - everyone hates England (for a variety of deep seated, historic reasons) and so behavior like that particularly rankles when it comes from them. I would have no issue seeing the Wallabies or Reds celebrating winning the little moments throughout the game, at least as long as they were winning the games as a whole too.

Good team spirit & positive support appears to correlate to a decent world ranking!

I don't get the hate of the English, never have. I in general like the people and have enjoyed the country when there. I think the everyone hates England is just some assuming everyone thinks same as them?
I know at the moment they got a pretty handy rugby team which some will be annoyed about!

The English media make it hard to warm to the team. The BBC's radio coverage, on 5 Live, especially so. Their complete and utter bias is beyond irritating.

Is it anymore bias than Maloney, Horan and Hooper with the Wallabies? Even Kearns and Martin in the not too distant past.

Anyone can use a volume control
My thoughts exactly WFDS, I sure plenty find NZ commentators biased (reading posts here etc), and similar with Aussie one, SA etc etc. Some obviously support the teams they commentating on, and find they see it through coloured lenses. I actually enjoy the difference way that they see the game, or what especially ex players see in game.
I can't dislike a nation's team because of commentators etc.

Really, is asking to beat a Tier 1 nation too much, you've bundled out in the pool stages both times, never finished higher than 3rd in a 6N, never beaten NZ, SA or Ireland in your term, are ranked 9th, and most of you're wins are against low Tier 2 sides
