I'd say just give it to London. Maybe Emirates Stadium, or Twickenham. I think this just shows what a success RWC 2019 will be....
I went to see the Baa-Baas at Wembley and it was the best rugby stadium I had ever been in.

Just have it at Suncorp stadium - it will be a sell out easily and a 50/50 crowd support due to the uncontrollable numbers of NZers flooding the city of Brisbane...like rats.

Who's gloating? No-one here, that's for sure. You suggested on PR not 60 minutes ago that G'n'R Rugby asked for politeness. Where is it?

Ughh...what is the point of playing a Bledisloe match in England? The game does not need to be promoted there , and what about the NZ and Australian fans who want to watch the game live? Dumb idea

Very good point. Or indeed points. Sad when a proud rugby heritage between 2 countries becomes hawked off to the biggest pay-check.
The core issue of course being: this entire 'played in Asia 4th Bledisloe game' was 80% about incremental $s to the NZ and Aus RUs, and 20% about 'growing the game in Asia'. I was told by a senior Aus rugby figure today that the key problem with this year's HKG match is a dramatic decline in Aus-related ticket sales as 'the Wallabies are going off the boil for the fans'. I believe they are concerned about Saturday's gate as well.
What it tells me is that many of the people up high in the ARU, and probably the NZRU also lack imagination. They have a golden goose one year - the 4th Bled - and they keep trying to wring every golden egg out of it, and miss the point at which the eggs go rotten. I understand the financial aspect to running the show, but making all the decisions on dollar-value will eventually fail. Half-baked Tests at Homebush; lack of consideration to an occasional arvo Test maybe at the SFS and pack the place, rather than 35,000 out west; and so on.
They are expecting 67'000 to the Bledisloe in Sydney..........
When I said half-baked Tests I was not referring to the Bledisloe, more the pre-3N ones.
