According to my Stats Hugh Roach and Chris Feauai-Sautia are equal with Quade Cooper and Kurtley Beale 's 9 Australian Schoolboys Caps. Well done . Both the boys , if all goes well will play 2 more tests. Fantastic stuff.

Chris has another year to go as well

Well if the two players they're breaking the record are anything to go by, you'd say Roach and Feauai-Sautia are destined for big things.

It's a pretty good record for the lads. Fellows in the starting team who have had two years in Oz Schools with the UK tour included in the period usually find themselves knocking on the door of the record; so the remarkable thing is not that. More remarkable is the fact that they started in all their games (IIRR - at least the ones played in Oz they did).

The other remarkable thing is that CFS was only 15 when he first played for Oz Schools last year; so we'll probably see him back in Oz Schools colours next year to add to the record.

Kurtley Beale was the best schoolboy player I ever saw and I remember thinking when he was 15 that he had a shot at Oz honours that year but he injured himself training with the GPS team and wasn't considered for NSW Schools. Lucas and Leali'ifano were the two Oz Schools flyhalves in 2004 but KB (Kurtley Beale) was better than them then IMO. He had to content himself with the U/16 comp later in the year. In 2005 he and reserve Cooper were the two Oz Schools flyhalves even though Lucas and Leali'ifano were back at school.

But I digress. CFS has a big future in senior rugby methinks and as for hooker Roach: I have said a lot about him already. It will depend on how big a man he becomes as I'd warrant that his engine, mongrel, ticker plus his technical and general requirements for the position won't be found wanting.

well said lee. Hugh will have a fantastic future if he grows that little bit more. apart from that, the boy has everything you could ask and more in a player

Unfortunately Luke Keary was severely concussed at training on Monday and has been ruled out for any further games on tour. Although extremely disappointed he has decided to stay on tour and will contribute to the team by being the Assistant-Assistant Manager! The rest of the squad rallied around him to provide some much needed support. This means we will be bringing a new player to Auckland on Thursday – Clinton Dale for ACT who played in the President’s XV. New Zealand Schools defeated Tonga 65 – 3.
On Tuesday after the team was announced there was a Captain’s run, followed by lunch in Hamilton. The boys were given a tour of the Waikato stadium and training complex in the afternoon, followed by some highly competitive ten pin bowling. The jumper presentation was held at a local Italian restaurant with a Chinese cook? Christian Lealiifano – Current Brumbies player; and Jack Lam. Both played with Australian Schools in 2004/2005 and are playing with Waikato for the remainder of the season.

Wednesday we meet Waikato U19 and expect a tough encounter as the Kiwis also look forward to having a crack at an Australian team.

That is bad news for the poor lad. Brave decision to keep him with his mates, rather than send him home early.

Thanks for the update, and good luck to the boys for the rest of the tour.

Yeah that's bad news.

Good to hear they're giving someone a go out of the President's XV, though.

Bad luck for Keary. The Eastwood recruit can put his feet up till the preseason training. Isn't Clint Dale a half back? Why are we bringing in another half?

Australian Schoolboys 27 defeated Waikato u19s 7

Waikato reportedly a very big and tough bunch of boys, 17 - 0 at half time. Backrow was Browning 6, Killingworth 7 and Cusack 8.
What has happened to Luani?

Do you have the starting team list?
Understand Luani is being rested for Saturday Wednesday double (Tonga New Zealand) after injuring shoulder against Fiji.

Word thru is that Lewis Holland sufferd an AC injury and is out for the remainder of the tour. That now throws up some possible selections - and with F'Sauti and Petaia going so well on the wings that leaves only one real option of Crook to 15 but then again Petaia is a half decent 15 as well but it will be a very potent attacking back 3 for the remaining 2 tests.

Heard Crook scored a sensational 60m individual try using dummies, change of pace and sidestep to beat three defenders. Also saved a couple of trys with good defence. Give him a crack at 15.

Are you a complete idiot posting miss informed information on a public website about INJURIES and status of schoolboys currently on tour, one phone call confirms lewis holland is fine, is still on tour and that rothschild is a complete jerk
Sincere apologies if I have caused any grief however someone at the game gave me that information and I had no cause to doubt their mail. If you read what I said it says'word thru'. It was not of my own making.
I did not think their information would be so wrong.
Again - sincere apologies.
