Scored a pretty average 325 this week, on the back of some poor decisions and a bit of bad luck (Schmoo :(). Thought Sonny Bill would get some time (didn't have enough transfers left so had to keep him). Keegan Daniel was a bad sub, as he was on the bench and didn't get much time.
Also had to hang onto du Preez for another week, although this was one of his higher scoring rounds (11 points!).

Still, as it sits now, I've managed to move up 12 spots to 58. That's a good result, considering.

For the first week I had Robinson and Kepu as props because I thought the Reds scrum was vulnerable (only person who didn't was Smith). So I was absolutely salivating over the points possibilities from all the times they murdered the QLD front row. Result - Robinson 18 (including one tight head) and Kepu 15 (no tight head). Given the performance I think that's pretty poor. No turnovers gained, no penalties gained, nothing.

Would Robinson/Kepu have gotten 10 points for getting that penalty try if that ever had happened?

Props aren't rewarded enough in Fantasy. A tackle should be worth 2 pts instead of one and a successful scrum should be worth something. Front rowers will hardly ever get points for try assists/ goals/ dropgoals (unless it's Matt Dunning), so surely increasing points for their main jobs would be something worth considering.

On a personal note, an average round of 377 for me, sitting Top 4 in all of my leagues leagues with 3323 pts overall.

When do players get subbed in if one didn't play? Does it matter if you do transfers first? Want to get poor injured Schmoo out early.

Once everything is finalized if someone didn't play the bench player will come on

Go the force!!!!

I don't think it matters since everyone needs 2 props...

In the league fantasy I get low-cost props because getting the top halves is better than getting the top props.

Yes it does matter. Alexander is a very poor prop compared to Robinson and Kepu. But he scores way more fantasy points. The scoring should be related to rugby skills.

Just found the league thread and look forward to going head to head with everyone this weekend. Looks like i'll slot in around position 78 to start with.

Hmm ... gotta say am pretty happy with this week's round of 406. Can't see my table-topping exploits lasting for long though :) Was very pleased to see my arch-nemesis Steve Hawkins go down in a heap this week (but maybe that is excuseable given he is on extended Fukushima leave atm).

Btw, I fired Schmoo yesterday in anticipation of massive price drop throughout the week. Even personally being a QLD'er I wish him good luck and a speedy recovery!

Go the Reds!!!

Silver lining here with Schmoo...can swap him for SBW and have some left over for the bank...

And boo the Reds btw....

Absolute shocker for me this week. Dropped a couple of spots in the gagr league and down to 24 overall. Ice as captain and not having ranger or payne proved costly.

Struggling to keep in touch with what's been going on in super rugby while on holidays in turkey over the last couple of weeks. One more week to go and I'll be back for a final assault at the 10K :)

Lucky for some ... I am simply in it for the glory and won't be up for the $10k as I am living in Bahrain. Wonder how bendy the rules are for this if am an Aussie, still have a house there, etc. although I'm sure I won't even come close at season's end!
