Farewells for Giteau and AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) as well.

Although I daresay Ashley Cooper won't get a hero's reception.

Brumbies team named with a few minor changes from last week:

Full squad: Christian Lealiifano, Henry Speight, Tyrone Smith, Pat McCabe, Adam Ashley-Cooper, Matt Giteau (capt), Patrick Phibbs, Mitchell Chapman, Julian Salvi, Henry Vanderglas, Peter Kimlin, Ben Hand, Ben Alexander, Stephen Moore, Jerry Yanuyanutawa. Res: Anthony Hegarty, Jono Owen, Sam Carter, Tom Boidin, Nic White, Robbie Coleman, Andrew Smith.

Nothing has made me more happier than seeing Valentine's name excluded for the second week in a row... ahhhhh...

Now, if we just take out Tyrone, shift over McCabe, then Giteau can play 12, and To'omua can come into flyhalf... imagine that?

Sud,

Off the top of my head he plays for Sydney University. If you can wait til tomorrow I'll throw up all the other details I have.

Boidon is 21 from Sydney University, plays backrow, and was First grade colts captain last year. From St Pats Strathfield, finished in 2007 and has stacked on the weight since.

Maybe that will be the lineup for next week? Brumbies could finally play their best backline - just in time for the end of the season!! McCabe at 12 running at Cipriani should be fun to watch though.

Tonight's last home game has the feeling of an end of an era, or a changing of the guard, with a substantially new team next year. I can't remember another time we have had so many players in their farewell performance at Canberra Stadium. It is a great pity some of them aren't able to get onto the field for the game. Surely they will give us an opportunity to acknowledge their service and the enjoyment they have given us over the years.

My personal favourites - Huia Edmonds, Mark Chisholm and Adam Ashley-Cooper (it used to be Owen Melon Finegan and it took 3 blokes to replace him when he retired), but also Matt Giteau, Salesi Ma'afu, Josh Valentine, Patrick Phibbs, Mitch Chapman, Frankie Fainifo, probably Rocky Elsom (not that's he's been on the park much), and I even heard today on Rugbyheaven that Tyrone Smith hasn't yet been offered a contract for next year.

It is highly appropriate that some of our other favourite sons will also be involved - especially Stirling Mortlock, Mark Gerrard, Julian Huxley and Rod MacQueen.

I think it might be a bit emotional at the end. I hope the game lives up to the occasion. In any case, thanks for the memories, and I look forward with optimism for what is ahead for the Brumbies.

He doesn't have to aim in at Cipriani, he can just run straight ahead over Huxley.

He just has to run between them, and just watch as both of them look at each other and shout "Yours!"

Ashley-Cooper may aswell not be playing, needs to go looking for the ball.

On another note, Cooper Vuna cannot tackle at all

Cooper Vuna might be exciting in attack, but when a Tyrone Smith step fools you to that extent you really have defensive problems.
