Would like to say ISA but I don't think there are enough workers in the pack to give enough possesion for the backs to play the way they will want to. Time will tell.

i dont know about the others but the Auggies forwards are all workers and they will be well led around the field by Dombkins.
This will be CHS's hardest game so far. From what I have seen the CHS pack is big but lacks mobility and some ball skills. They rely on one or two backs to create opportunities. I believe ISA will win by 8 with Purcell having a major influence
Purcell is certainly one out of the box: a very good facilitator of others. Usually what he does is done from the 10 position, but he does it from inside centre. Older folks will probably know about Lloyd Walker of Randwick, NSW and the Wallabies. He is that kind of player, and unusually so in Schools rugby.
He had some good players, like Hingano, to facilitate last year, but I'm not sure that he will have the same quality of outside backs in 2011.
He was in good form in that hybrid union/league game at Brookie last month.
Let's see, come Sunday, if the wizard can cast a few more spells.

Hes a very good player but his quality could potentially work against the team. Obviously the CHS backs main focus in defence will be to shut down Purcell and if they do so, you would say they just about have the win in the bag but at the same time if Purcell fires it will go along way to an ISA win

Review of Oakhill v St Andrew
Oakhill 38 - 5 St Andrews
A good game which was dominated by the two centre pairings
Oakhills 12 is a massive lump of a lad and is fast to boot, there 13 is more of a finesse type player with a jink and pass. They were a great combination.
St Andrews 12 was a long limbed solid islander with a nice fend and compact defence, there 13 was short and stocky who is difficult to get down because he keeps pumping his trunk-like legs.
The forwards were fairly even with Oakhill having a strong scrum and St Andrews having a strong lineout and in open field they were even.
I thought the real difference between the two sides were the halves combinations.
Oakhill had an organised half-back who rallied his forwards and threw the ball to the right player in the right position at the right time. Oakhills flyhalf was really slick, he had a great kicking game and passing game, his defence was exceptional also.
The St Andrews midfield combination left alot to be desired. There halfback looked like he was 30kg and was a liability in defence, he made a good effort but its physically impossible for him to stop a forward at full pace. His pass was accurate but slow and he had no direction, it was a toss of a coin if he went to the blind or open because his team mates visably had no clue. Finally St Andrews achilles heel, The fly-half, on the positive he can pass both ways nicely, its fast and accurate, he can kick the ball along way whilst kicking for touch. And now his negatives, in his own 22m region he didn't kick out, it went straight to one of the back 3. Not once did he perform a move, no change of direction, no inside ball, no dummy, no cut-out, no step, nothing! He had two plays: 1 - shovel a pass onto a centre and they run straight at the line. 2 - Throw it to the 'Human Wrecking Ball' (No. 1) and see if he can break the line.
His defence... well there was none, St As 12 had to come in to cover the Oakhills 10 and St As 13 had to follow his 12 in to defend Oakhills 12; thus creating a huge hole in St As defensive line for Oakhills 13 and 15 to stroll through.
Oakhill will be hard to beat with a good all-round team, I cant wait to see them play St Augustines. It will be a great match up.
St Andrews have opportunity to be a force this year, but not until they find direction in there halves.

Can't say because i haven't seen them all play but purcell from Auggies has the credentials to claim top spot. i have seen him this year, including the Hybrid game, and he has been outstanding all year.

They were in everything in both defence and attack culminating in 3 tries and if the ref new how to correctly interperate the tackle/breakdown then the 7 would have had double digit pilfers. The 8 was also instrumental in gaining a lot of go forward which set the platform for the backs to play off.

Oakhills tight five have the exact some build to each other, short and stocky but not fat
2 of those tries were because they ran at Andrews 9 and 10, the other was after Oakhills 12 ran at the Andrews 10 and 12 gap and Andrews 13 came to help and Oakhills 9 threw it straight to a steaming pod of backrows.
