I noticed that a few people are going over. It would be great if we could all meet up and be a big rowdy group.

There would obviously be beverages and singing involved (some nice and easy chants). Too often Aussie supporter have been quiet, it's time to get vocal.

Details:
Pre-match
Venue: Kingslander Pub (http://www.thekingslander.co.nz/)
- Next to Kingsland train station
Arrive: 5:30pm
Depart: 7:45pm

Post-match
Venue(s): Kingslander Pub

Yep I would be keen for that. Where to meet up though? Down at the big Live site on the waterfront or anybody know some good pubs?

"Is the pope catholic?" A pub for sure. I'm never been to Auckland, anyone care to make a few suggestions?

Slight thread-jack here. I'm going to the Australia v Italy game (fucking earthquake, ruined my accreditation) so if any of you GAGR guys wanna catch up before or after the game, let me know. It's a 3:30 kick off too, lots of time after the game.

I'm flying over from Sydney that day, arriving in Auckland at 3:20pm. Have booked a hotel near the airport and will drop the bags off and go straight to Eden Park. If anyone knows a prominent meeting point at the ground let us know.

I splurged and got some Category A seats, I really wanted to see this game! Is the plan to do a pre or post game meet up? Something near Eden Park makes sense.

If we are all going to meet up in the CBD before heading out towards Eden Park then I would think either of the "Heineken Experience" in the Shed 10 part of the Livesite, or this pub - Fox's Ale House would be good spots. http://www.foxsalehouse.co.nz/general/category/page.html

If we're after somewhere near Eden Park, I reckon the Speights Ale House will do the trick. http://www.speightsalehouse.co.nz/index.html

Or for somewhere right next to the stadium, the Kingslander appears to be the go. http://www.thekingslander.co.nz/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1

I vote for Speights Ale House or The Kingslander. Turns out the mate who's house I am staying at is a 25 min walk to Eden Park, so I vote for near the stadium :p

Ale House or Kingslander that'll be the two.

Don't think it's possible to add a poll, just reply with your vote.
