Fucking refereeing debacle.

Well done to the Wallabies.

Across the park they had the mongrel that deserved a winning scoreline.

Forwards were better than the AB's despite the scoreboard.

To'omua fully stepped up. JOC (James O'Connor) played with real hunger. And for mine, Mogg was far more composed. Fast ball from Genia, instead of double pumps before passing made a difference.

Quade should stay on the bench unless we're up by 20. Seriously, what is with pointless fucking kick down the middle of the field with no one chasing (after Folau's intercept), think never say die, keep the ball in hand and have a fuckin crack. Just another reason, he's simply not good enough.

He has met mine. He fully expected him to play really well.
His game awareness is excellent for such a young guy.

He seems to just have the full package. He has many bright years ahead of him I think.

Aaron Smith was fantastic. He crapped all over Genia.

Tom Taylor. Very solid debut. You blokes just keep producing very rounded 10 options. He is very similar to Dan Carter in my view.

Peyper made me furious but no point wasting text on him.

I'm not a fan of the Myth but none the less congratulations on 100 tests. Very big achievement.

Wallabies will keep building and we will see you boys in Dunedin.

Chill out mate... The issue for quade is figuring out what people actually want him to do. One second its "play the low risk percentage game" and the next its "hes not doing enough quade stuff!". I do get what you're saying and he made the wrong decision, but he is often berated for his approach to the flyhalf role and I think that has impacted his game, especially in recent times.

I don't think the coach has made the difference everyone was hoping for, apart from being more popular within the team and with the public, that's understandable he's an Aussie. But it is really time for these players to stand up and play like the proud, talented, never say die Aussies we are used to playing against. Some of them had no respect for Deans or the jersey and their country, and unless Link kicks some arse they will do the same to him.
There is to much aimless kicking, no real idea on attack and the players that could make a difference hardly see the football. The other thing is too many players just don't turn up, have a great game one week and disappear the next, consistency, commitment 110% every game, where is it?

Completely agree. It seems like he hasn't figured out which way to go. It's almost as if he's been neutered. All he needed to do was rain it back a notch. I feel like the Wallabies need his X factor and his ability to pass the ball at test level.

How many 10's come on with 10 minutes to go and pull out some blinder though? He's still got the potential, he needs some decent guidance (Link?)

I agree. If you're going to pick QC (Quade Cooper) you have to just let him play his natural game. If you want to play a low risk game plan then pick someone who has that as their natural game.

At test level you can tweak and refine a 10s play, but you can't completely change it and still expect them to produce the goods every game.

We need to make more of our opportunities. After 25 mins we were playing well, had made some breaks but were only up 6 nil. We score our points in 3s, NZ score there's in 7s' plus they tend to hit back straight after we take the 3, which makes our decision to take 3 doubly poor. Maybe our defence will improve enough to justify trying to win by a multiple of 3, but it feels a way off. We aren't playing smart enough yet.

Ideally Cooper would come out with the wallabies two tries down and 10 to go and feel free to run it from in the 22 - you would think that it would be quite disinhibiting.

But he is struggling to find that confidence against the All Blacks, esp. Be interesting to see how he goes against the Saffers.

Big disappointment to not see him flinging it to Folau. Bring back the crazy stuff. ITS NOT CRAZY. Without it there is no reason to put him on.

I know its only early days but I am not seeing anything different or Crazy Stuff. I would think Deans is still coaching, if I didn't know. Get the Flucking Ball quick right out to the Wingers !

Watched the game at the Wooloomooloo Bay Pub.

Positives: They have Maclaren Vale Beer on Tap - Dark Lager - lager and one other I never got around to sampling. Some sampling notes on the Beer thread.

Negatives: We appeared to lose badly. Full judgement to be reserved until the replay is watched. Much of the live game time was spent on a mission to convert a Richmond AFL supporter to Heavensgame.

If Quade is taking tactical advice from punters on Internet forums, his career is over.
Maybe he has just never recaptured his form since 2011?
He wouldn't be the first player unable to replicate form from a stellar season.

I agree that Aus need to make more of the opportunities to score tries. However taking the 3 points on offer isn't such a bad idea. The ABs score in multiples of 7 and 3.

As well as scoring more tries they also scored more penalties. They just need less chances than any other test nation to score their tries. They don't seem to worried about kicking to the corner when 3 points are on offer.

Mate its not just us on gagger land. lets be fair. George Gregan, Robbie Deans, alot of the commentators and alot of journalists have had their say on Quade's approach.
