He walked into 1st grade when he first arrived at Randwick didn't he?
From memory he got his head put up his backside against Souths.

1 game in 3rd grade, 2 in 2nd grade before his only first grade game v Souths. Back to 2nd grade after that. Only played against Souths due to an injury to the mightly Toa Asa.

Eli Baille has gone over to Drummoyne. Plays his first game this weekend for the DD's.

Also heard, Windon is getting a nice earn with St Pats for the last 6 or so weeks of the season.

Will be interesting to see if those guys come back to SS next season as Subbies are supposed to be getting rid of players payments. Or is that too hopeful?

Disappointing -- I thought he showed great promise.
These guys leaving is certainly going to make it hard for the lower grades to make the playoffs as well as 1sts.

Would create some interesting challenges to enforce it.
Given the fact that "payments" (in various forms) were impossible to police during the amateur era I don't see how this could possibly be controlled.

There were some nice cameos of the old magic in the game against Wests last week. Hard to build the combinations when the same backline hasn't played for 2 games yet -- and I don't mean 2 consecutive games, I mean 2 games!

Combinations are important, for sure, but I am really thinking about the days when Randwick just refused to kick the ball, they used to run it from just about everywhere.

Definately looking a bit more light on through the grades, forwards and backs. The 2nds coach is listed to play in 2nds. Maly will be even tougher after a shock loss to Easts too.

Anyone know if Wade is coaching next year?
His contract was for 2 years.
I think he deserves another year especially should the team make the play offs.

So what happens to Scots College Old Boys?

Fair dinkum, what is the point of embarking on a 5 year journey if the Board are going to get cold feet after two years.

I think the board and majority of supporters would be keen to see Kelly stay on as coach and build on the young guns he has brought and blooded. I think It would be more of a case of him choosing to move on. I believe he has done really well but it hasnt been easy and scots would be a higher paying role id imagine.

Whilst Rif is a highly credentialed coach (I havent heard whether he has been linked or not) Id prefer someone who has been involved over the last few years to step in to the head coach role. Jayson Brewer lasts years second grade coach and b4 first colts coach would seem like a good choice for the club atm.

Ive heard mixed reports about Nick Ryans involvement and dont know enough to comment. Eithier way he wouldnt be involved as a head coach.
