getting one of the broncs wingers would be pretty bloody good, Vidot, Maranta, Copley, oates it doesnt matter all are very good. Maranta has experience in XV though so maybe hes the best option.

He's probably an athletically superior Taquele in my view. Played front row when relegated to intrust cup earlier in the year.

- No Broncos winger but a winger of Fijian decent will join the Reds from the NRL.
- Quade yet to sign sevens contract, will do so after Khoder and company meet with O'Connor upon arrival to Aus.

FWIW, at a recent QLD rugby function with numerous sources, some very credible, there were strong rumours that RG would be re-appointed, apparently some such rumours coming from named players' managers.
I think all this just points to what we do know: at least some powerful QRU board members still have much affection for RG, think he's a very good Reds coach, think the problems of two appalling seasons aren't really down to his capabilities but lie with other factors, and thus accept no blame for his hiring, and want with a passion to retain him.
If this wasn't the case and that RG's existing contract ends August 31, and given massive negative fan feedback to the QRU re RG, the QRU would surely have announced RG's non-re-signing by now, new coach or no new coach.
I think there could well be a major split on the QRU board re the entire RG matter, and it may be that it is not resolved as yet and is proving difficult to resolve.
