Can someone tell me why teams, and not just the Wallabies, when on attack, decide to kick the ball back to the opposition? Then surprise, surprise, two seconds later they find themselves defending and scrambling from the very place they did the aimless, pointless, stupid kick in the first place. This is quite often followed by the opposition scoring a try! By my count this happened to the Wallabies three times tonight? Dumb kicks can change the game in such a short time.

Huh?
9 and 10 were far from our biggest problem tonight.
Swap smith and Carter for white and cooper and the result would have been the same.

Not sure Cooper would've put in the place kicking display that Carter did tonight.

Aaron Smith was extremely poor tonight. Worst AB on the field.

I don't know what's more pathetic that performance or everyone on here fighting over which player was the worst. The whole team was awful.

I don't for a second believe that we ever really wanted to win that game. That was Cheika last experiment before the World Cup. You don't change your winning 8-9-10-12-14 if your truly going for it. So everyone settle.

What did we learn:

- Cooper is awful in tight situations. He's a great super flyhalf but never cut it at international level.

- Nic White, Will Skeleton and Matt To'omua are better coming off the bench then starting

- Until we find a hard working massive number 8 we may as well start with two no 7s. No Australian 8 is up to it.

- Our lineouts need a lot of work

As for Quade.............

He hasn't been as poor as Foley, but he was still poor.......... can't blame him for the loss though.

If that try wasn't Quade's fault (and I agree) then it was most certainly Horwill's as he again missed the critical first tackle on Milner-Skudder.

If you're gonna blame a super make sure it's the right one... Horwill didn't miss the tackle on Milner-Skudder, it was Mumm.

Horwill's missed tackles directly led to the first two tries. By then it was pretty much game over. Horwill was no where near best.

Get your facts right mate, Mumm missed the tackle which lead to the penalty try, Moore missed the cover tackle, all of which came off a poor clearing kick from To'omua.

Michael Chieka is starting to look like Dingo Deans with his selections that create a Wallaby poor performance.
