Certainly no disrespect aimed at this player and in hindsight, my post was ill-informed in that regard. My point was I guess, is that yes there are a lot of good players in other comps but the ones with a real hunger tend to challenge themselves in good teams in the best competitions. Playing where you are guaranteed a spot each week doesn't always allow for that growth, nor does it enable a comparison of their development or progress with others.

As a side note, I took a look at his you-tube video. Handy enough and excellent kicker. The vid however, was 12 minutes long and ALOT of kicking so if you wanna look also, be prepared.

Certainly was mate, a quick google search will show you that he played for West Harbour in the Shute Shield last year and was the 3rd highest point scorer in the Shute Shield in 2015.

Angus has played well in the SIRU comp and is streets ahead of this comp. He's a hard runner and a smart footballer, but above all a decent bloke. I wish him all the best in the ACT comp.

EDIT, and on a side not, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up at Royals. There is a strong link between Royals and SIRU.

Southern Inland under 12's probably compare more favourably to the ACT under 12s than the Southern Inland seniors to the ACT seniors.

More like the ACT under 10's. Our kids just don't get the exposure to the higher level coaching that their Canberra counterparts get.

Senior's definitely worlds apart.

Word going around is Bautz is leaving wests for the shute shield? Also heard their big winger Sinoti might be leaving? Can anyone confirm?
