Yep wonder why he was moved from the backs to prop.
BBC 10 contolled well but honestly they should have done a lot better the GT backline was just directionless..the highly touted BBC 12/13 was very quiet.agree GT missed their 10 and under rated player who flys under the radar with the talent outside him

Well it's the GT 13 when I saw them in round one who was the super star. The 10 was decent enough and ran the game well, but I don't think he's underrated, certainly I've never heard that said before. You can't just throw anyone into that position. It's just too key to the game.

An 18-2 penalty count in GT's favour probably had a little something to do with the 14's result and the lack of oomph in the game

The funniest moment on the sidelines was a GT supporter losing his cool on a no call to GT when they were already up 10 zip on the penalty count and accusing the Ref of " wearing a black jersey " :)

BBC without a penalty until half way through the 2nd half

Completely killed the possibility of any flow to the game

GT regular 10 not underrated one bit . Well known player with plenty of affirmation

Both sides below their best today however that's not a defense for the ( inadvertent ) 2nd funniest moment on the sideline when the GT Coach was geeing up the troops at halftime and dismissed the BBC team as < than TSS

Good stuff

BBC 10 should've played to conditions in the first half, it was howling and yet he opted to run, they struggled to get outta their half a few times as the terrace back row played havoc in the tackle ball area. They were magnificent! BBC fullback was caught out a few times on defence. Bad game plan BBC

Wow... let's forget about the game plan and FB, but my video footage of the game would probably suggest that the opposite of everything you said is true. So I'm wondering if you were bored and had the inclining for a spot of fly fishing.

One of the better schoolboy rugby games I have seen at Nudgee College. Both teams played hard and fast. BSHS have the opportunity to win the premiership outright next week against TSS. Should be a cracker.

Just a couple of things I'm curious about.
I was at the BSHS V NUDGEE game yesterday. Fantastic game and congratulations to State High. Well deserved.
Go back 1 week ago. TSS kick off. The nudgee boy jumps in the air and catches it while his legs are taken from under him. Ref blows it up and only a penalty is given. Yesterday the same thing happened but this time Nudgee do it to State High. Ref blows it up and sin bins the player at what was a crucial time. Where is the consistency. Quick line out, don't 2 feet have to be over the sideline. Right next to the touchie, and please someone explain to me what the outcome of any foul play is. Listen to the touchie after the final try. I understand he said it may not have had any effect on the try, but isn't foul play, foul play. Big games need quality refs. Not kids! Happy for State High. And lastly much respect to Nudgee in the way they handled there loss. Well done to State high for staying humble with there win, BUT to the 1 or 3 state high parents that came on the field with there horns and were walking between the Nudgee boys blowing it. Disgusting I say. You ruined the day. It will be very easy to name and shame you but I will not lower myself to your standards. You were asked to hop of the field and you continued to walk around blowing your horn and sticking your finger up. Disgusting women you are. Well done state high, but ruined by those supporters.

Correct and the 3 boys transferring from the undefeated BSHS 14A team to GT are full fee paying .
Still have not worked out if Red Black and Red Black Red are 2 different posters.
So let me clarify what you are saying...
Three BSHS players from the under 14 undefeated team are, voluntarily and with no poaching or enticement, moving to GT next year to pay over $20 000 a year for an education and rugby program they currently get for free now at State High. And given that State High for last last 10 years have either been top of the state or thereabouts for Op's and NAPLAN results, and that the boys rugby team at State High have only lost one game in two years, and with the current State High first fifteen guaranteed of at least sharing the premiership this year, it seams a bit strange to me. Can't GT produce there own rugby players?

I had a former Wallaby fullback with me and he said same thing. Also lineouts poor but at least they only lost 4 against the throw. They average 6 .I thought their 4 and 5 had blinders.

After watching the video stream, I believe Nudgee were hard done by the final try decision . The BSHS player deliberately 'obstructed' the NC defender from tackling the State High winger.
A penalty should have been awarded for the tackle in mid air incident. Not a sin bin. Bad call.
Congratulations to BSHS on their victory on Ross Oval.
Great match spoilt by inconsistent refereeing and way too many penalties. Let the game flow.
Shared premiership is my prediction for final round.
TSS to upset BSHS and NC to beat GT.

I can tell you it is currently 3 and Had to be approved under the "Headmasters agreement".
you have to get approval if you switch from one GPS school under any form of bursary/ scholarship or you start after term 1 grade 11.
Here though , like the Keebra Park boy who played for Churchie 2014 , they are "full fee paying" !! Does not matter who pays though !

Nudgee lost Taipan - all they had to do was win their own final lineout throw and not give away so many penalties. Exactly the same went for BBC against BSHS except yesterday ref kept BSHS on side.

GT background on scholarships mean they keep them very quiet - they also have a history of the funding parents having to drive and collect these students to get them to come to school I recall.

Ha...agree Oracle83.

I'd also add, NC outside backs needed to tackle the winger who ran around them...simple would you think.

T, lets not blame the ref, lets not blame the boys and have a very close look at the coaching or lack of. The more I watch the school rugby it saddens me that they are looking more and more like the wobblies and we know what track their heading down!

On a good note, well done to the BSHS 1st XV!! no fancy smancy private school with $100's K being handed out for scholarships, just good coaching and talented young men. Hat's off to you!
