Agree but disagree. In the Firsts sure, but you can't rule out the rise of Padua as the new powerhouse. Marist will still no doubt come away with the aggregate. So can't say as a whole they would rather forget this year..

Interesting game out at Marist this arvo. Ashgrove up 30 - 8 on Old Boys day. 4 red's and a yellow throughout the game (2 reds a piece). Game predominantly played within the forwards so was very physical. MCA standouts: Wrattan was outstanding throughout (#6), #7, #2 For the backs everyone...

Midgley took it from the kick off and was taken out mid air.. Don't think it was deliberate.

Tears may have been flowing but not enough heart shown on the field when it mattered. Ashgrove forward pack simply dominated in almost al aspects - maybe all except line out. Their aggression wasn't matched and ultimately what won them the game in my opinion.

Fairly sure Fabris was an injured shoulder, however apparently it was a precaution to rest him against Villa so he's near 100% for Padua. Not sure where there Rafter injury came from - seemed to be fine all through his run in the game on the weekend.

Good to hear. Gets through a mountain of work if he's switched on.
