    ISA 2025

I know that the lower half of the ISA/CAS cross over is being complicated by the Sydney Aus v Lions match. The rugby conveners are working to avoid games either being on in Bathurst or Orange for that weekend. Sydney teams don't want to travel that weekend and Stannies and Kinross don't want a...

Unavailable due to injury. Think may have even returned home, or at least left the playing group.

    ISA 2025

I know they (Opens & 16s) had training today at BMGS, so shouldn't be far away.

    CAS & ISA Scores & Tables, 2025

Will be interesting to see how Trinity's approach to rugby plays out over the next few years. They have clearly gone big on the scholarships in U13 & U15 (seemingly via an arrangement with Oatley) and their results are showing that they are destroying everyone (bar Waves) in CAS. If this...

    2025 NSW Junior State Championships

From a neutral observer... Two Blues have every right to be very annoyed. I could understand the argument 2-3 years ago that they are just big boys bashing through the middle, but that is no longer the case. Sure they are still big boys, but they are now playing the game with a lot of skill...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I know this is self evident, but interesting none the less...30 players picked in the squad. 9 of those are front rowers (6 props and 3 hookers). So effectively 33% of the squad are front rowers. Should be a good enticement for any high level 14-16 yr old players who have the required...

    Under-20 Competitions including Oceania & World U20s

I get Sharples and Fowler have the benefit on a long standing combination, but I haven't seen any instance over the past 2 years where Dillon isn't the better choice starting 10, especially if team wants to play some footy and use those excellent centres. It wouldn't surprise me if Grover...

In my sample size of 1, selected players were told yesterday. Presume official announcement can’t be far off.

    CAS Rugby 2025

Aloys 2nds were playing Waverley 3rd's in which case I assume it would be a win for Waverley 2nd's in the rankings points system.

@The Ghost of Raelene Based on what you saw, what does your World Cup starting XV look like?

    Under 20s Australia v Argentina

I know the purpose is RWC preparation, but felt very disjointed with all the subs. Shame to see Dillon get replaced so early. I know it became very forward focussed, but I liked his control early in the match.

They only took the 2. Brumbies 9 was in the squad vs Japan U23, but not in the TRC squad.

Fowler's kicking seemed much more considered and effective (albeit probably a bit shorter than Prass). With Harvey at 15 (who has a good kick), very suprised to see Dillon get so little game time so far. Think he manages a back line very well. Hopefully he gets a chance vs Arg, where Aus...
