    John I Dent Cup 2014

The "removal" of the then Head Coach. Easts then were on the verge of being a dominant force, that 2008 Team was a team that could of won the title on 2009. But for some reason, the board decided to go another direction and advise the coaching group to "reapply". For memory, after this, the...

    John I Dent Cup 2014

Lets be real here I think, the demise of Easts was always going to happen after the 2008 shambles. Poor decisions from the then board to "go another direction" was always goign to have an affect. You cant blame anyone or anything else other than it all comes from that decision. Since then, Easts...

    Olympic sevens selection

I think you will find NZ will be pretty hard to beat in the 2015 Olympics. They have a team full of Sevens specialists and when you can call on the likes of Savea, Messam, Dagg to strengthen a team (all who are ex IRB 7s players for NZ), i think their depth is far too superior as will be Fijis...

John I Dent Cup and ACT competition - 2012

So I take it Easts will be the new Tuggies of the ACT Comp in terms of having players from all over the place barring their own back yard??? Why cant Easts keep their own players??? Just a question I would like to know.

John I Dent Cup and ACT competition - 2012

He is back in Canberra, but from all reports, heading back to NZ for the Club and ITM Cup season with Southland again. Still cant understand how he cant get a look in with the Brumbies or any other franchise when he consistantly been one of Southlands best this season and last.

John I Dent Cup and ACT competition - 2012

thats a good thing with Vanderglas in there, he has more of a feeling on the game than Owen Brown will ever have. Good for the club, lets hope Brown doesnt have too much input in what happens at club level.

John I Dent Cup and ACT competition - 2012

Its take Easts since 2008 to realise that this was always the path to go down to be successful.... Well done to Jezza. No doubt Jezza will call on a lot of the blokes who got them to 08 to assist in coaching, recruitment and back to where they should have been after 08. Unfinished Business I...
