    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

I watched the Churchie V IGS game last night. What I found interesting was the Chuchie pack would have been 100K lighter yet they were able to dominant in the scrums. Churchie were better than I thought as I, like all the other punters expected IGS to win by 20. The Chuchie hooker would be 70K...

There have already been some changes to the GPS teams due to injury. Finlay Hume is playing 10/15 for ACGS. ACGS No.9 is the halfback picked. I'm sure will be other changes after school trail games this weekend. The final makeup of the teams will only become clear in the following week.

Ive heard that before Garry Owens, and I think you are a brave man with that prediction so early on.

Firstly GPS1,2 and 3 are really picked by the First 15 coaches. It really means nothing. Secondly I would hate to be GPS 1 No.9 as they have not gone on the represent QLD for the last 3 years, they have missed out all together. Interesting. I understand Churchie lost one of their new boy after...

Looking at these list of boys returning I believe that you are missing about 6 boys from BBC. Also from Churchie you are missing the NO 1, 4, 5, 6, 13 who all played 4 games or more and the original NO 3 got injured and missed the whole season.

The fire in the belly will be to strong) TSS def BBC(TSS will hit their straps however they could still win at 60%) IGS def GT(GT won't get as much ball as Churchie gave them) Churchie def BGS (Churchie have too good a...

I watched the Churchie V GT games on the weekend. The Churchie 16A's looked very impressive from 1 to 15. I expected GT to walk all over Churchie but they were completely dominated. I'm not sure if they have any new boys but Churchie 16A's need to be congratulated. They have now beaten the 2...

I must agree with oldschool regarding the JGC Qld under 17 squad. The boys have played and done very well, however only a small handful of those boys will play First XV this year. If all the boys in this age group in Brisbane made themselves available there is only one player who would make a...

The one big question for BBC is you can buy all the boys you like, but you can't buy team spirit.

There is 2 No 9's who played First's last year who are running around again this year. They are from TGS and Churchie. IMO I thing they will be the standouts as I thought they were good last year. They will better for the experience. I think the TGS 9 is in the under 18 emerging Reds.

Larry Dwyer (12) I didn't realise Churchie were not playing in the comp this year unless you have them coming last??? I have been told this age group has always finished in the top 3 since under 13 and have some good depth. I don't believe they can win however to not rate them IMO in a mistake.
