Ireland v Wallabies, Saturday 15/11 (Sunday morning Aus time)

When trying to understand coaches decisions, I reckon people focus way too much on things like scrums for props, or LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto)'s runs, and way to little attention for what they are doing 90% of the time. The answer is probably defence discipline, and correctly playing their roles in the attacking...

They don't need to be good to get this number of caps. They just need to be clearly better than any of the alternatives in the eyes of multiple pro coaches at Super Rugby and national level

Just the 38 Wallaby caps and 110 Super Rugby games

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

Playing for Tonga? Edit - after a quick Google, tournament funded by Australia gov and administered by NRL. Sounds like a complicated lawsuit

I don't really understand what you want them to do differently? as others have said we have had plenty of club plays in Super Rugby lineups over the years, with almost no success. Doing something different for the Tahs would be to not play any more club props

The real answer here is pro-clubs would rather pathway players with two years of pro-level strength and conditioning under their belt rather than semi-pro adults with zero years of it

Comfortable guaranteed salarie, including with the various match payments and bonuses that are already in play aren't enough to keep our best national players in the country over the long term, let alone the Super Rugby standard journeymen. How did this bonus structure go in 2023?

All the players leaving for OS gigs don't seem too comfy

    Nations Championship

The way this thing pays for itself is $$$ from interest in UK and France.

Wallabies v France, user friendly time Sunday Morning

We tend to do pretty well in France for whatever reason, but the last thing this team needs is a French team in France turning it on

    RWC 2027 Australia

Isn't just that there's so much money in the scoccer WC that they can pay their way around any problem, whereas we have a bunch of semi-pro teams and players involved who have to have surety around their arrangements and costs for planning purposes? It doesn't matter where England is based, but...

    Refereeing decisions

I think the latest one that has shadow changed is you have to wrap with both arms. Until very recently (last year?) you only had to "attempt to grasp" a ball career with one arm. These latest batch of red cards all hinge on both arms needing to wrap (nothing in the laws require both arms wrapping)

    Nations Championship

Top 14 final is the weekend before the first round. I kind of can't believe the French agreed to this schedule. There must be rivers of gold flowing in for it.

    Wallabies 2026

One more week in there somewhere and they could just have had TRC

I've heard they might be playing in South Africa
