I’d rather them call Jude Gibbs up for a Tahs pre-season who has gone through a couple seasons in the shute shield.

If the Tahs needed cover for Edmed, Bowen & Harrison when he’s back it won’t be Walsh getting the call up. It will be someone like Gibbs.
Plenty of Shute Shield players were involved in Tahs pre season who won’t see a minute in an ideal world. Including the FT squad 50+ would have been involved at some stage.
Pretty common for the top age group players to train with pro squads in a lot of sports. Costs nothing but gets you front and centre in their mind.

Particularly memorable in the final round of ‘19 when Joeys smashed Scots to win outright. Jude had the ball on a string and the Joeys boys sang like McCartney “nah nah nah na nah nah na… Hey Jude” , whilst Colin Scotts fumed on the sideline. Great times.

I seem to find this forum is a lot more hostile to scots than the average GPS ilk.
Joeys always seem to be the most hated for most.
Most hated for most…. Interesting use of the English language. (In the context of rugby) I’d say Joeys is the school that
most others are jealous of, it’s certainly the school that all others are desperate to beat. I reckon that is respect though, not hatred.
