As the season progresses, it’ll be exciting to watch him not only solidify his place in Newington’s side but also take steps toward a future with the Wests Tigers and I'm sure whatever route he chooses he will become a fantastic player.
Not necessarily. Of course, it would be incredible to see Makasini continue developing in Union—I'd love to see him reach Super Rugby. But in the bigger picture, this could shine a spotlight on school development programs across the board—not just within the GPS system, but in all schools. It’s not just Rugby League scouts who should be paying attention, but Union scouts as well.

I understand baby blue is premiership? But don't the boys also get their cadet unit ranks on their grey/red one?

Yes Cadet rank is indeed displayed on the Right sleeve at shoulder height of their Red/Grey Coat (which also makes up part of the Cadet uniform).
The Red badge found on both left and right collars on the Red/Grey Coat is replaced with a Dark Blue badge for Prefects. (badge is not the correct term but you get what I’m saying)
With Colours and Honours, it’s best explained from the Kings website …
Colours and Honours Coats
- Students awarded Colours are able to purchase a Stripe Butchers Coat, which then has a special navy pocket attached with the students award embroidered.The Butchers Coat can be worn at any official TKS or GPS events, Saturdays and official sporting occasions.
- Students awarded Honours are able to have a tailor made King's Sky Blue Coat made with a matching pocket embroidered with the students award. The wearing of this coat is the same as the Butchers Coat.

Justice aint a flanker. How many crash ball runners you need in one squad?? Fowards these days should be banned from entering the backline, anywhere from the 50 up to the 10 when attacking. The amount of forwrds that have spilt the ball this season when the backs should be kicking for field position or running a move is the most frustrating thing in rugby... Let the backs do their thing, I say.
And talking of backs, where's the torpedo punt gone???

I would be patient and wait for Bassignthwaite and Callaghan (both E) to return. Both have a strong kicking game that dominated last season, Callaghan had some lethal bombs, Rex found plenty of space and 22 yard lines.

The game is changing as we speak. Now days teams focus on getting to an edge and setting a structure there. The reason forwards are there is to make the extra 5 meters instead of a back getting crunched. Every team is different however, but this year in the GPS its common to see a flanker or even a hooker partnering up on the edge with a winger. The torpedo kick is good in theroy but with the game getting quicker the punch kick is utilised more. Although it is a good watch to see those outside backs over the high ball!
