NSW AAGPS 2025 (banter and commentary)

The President

Sydney Middleton (9)
I think he’s referring to the SIC coaches interfering to the confrontation between the Riverview dad and the Shore boys. No need for them to get involved

Not sure who but a SIC lost it at the crowd then had a rant to the Shore teachers. I assume about jeering but there was equal from both sides. Good culture. Bloke needs to pull his head in.

good to see the cerise and blue back with a W at the Hill. ball must have been covered in soap with the amount of knock ons from both teams. Hannon looked composed and dangerous with ball in hand and will no doubt retain his spot, though will no doubt fix up some patchy field position kicking. Another top shelf performance from Captain Consistent, Justice T. Better performance from Joeys tight 5, though probably helped by a fairly absent performance by their Scots opposites. Special mention has got to be made of Charlie Ghattas. Is there, weight for age, a harder tackler or ball runner in the GPS 1’s this year? i don’t think so. Scraps like he’s the third monkey on the ramp up to Noah’s Ark and it’s starting to rain. Runs all day but still has the air to run his mouth to the opposition. He’s what halfbacks dream of being when they grow up. bet he can throw a 20m pass off his weak side as well

Im really not sure what on earth happened at half time to Shore.

The Ignatian 10 got sent-off when it was 12-10,

We then proceed to get flogged. Unless the Ignatian coaches spelt out the words of God on how to play rugby. Nothing like that should ever happen.

It is a grim year this year, takes me back.

Not good after the first premiership in a minute.

Callaghan was very good and is definitely a great find for Shore

However, given the scoreline and the fact that Riverview played pretty much the entire second half with 14 men and won the match during the same period I am struggling with Shore was the better side out there, but to each their own.

The red card itself was very tough. No arms, but not particularly high and not at the head, I have seen other matches this year when that wasn’t even a card.

The ref in general was not great, getting in the way of players of both sides multiple times throughout the match and effectively nullifying and reversing on what was potentially a very dominant View scrum.

Re: behaviour I didn’t see any of what has been described, but the jeering at the kicks and the “Where’s your prem?” by Shore at 32-12 fell a bit flat.

Big games coming up for next round.

View v Joeys at the swamp, view looking to continue a strong press at the silverware. Joeys looking to keep a foot in the ring.

Kings v Shore at the cow paddock. Kings in a similar spot to View and New now. Shore would want to take this one away to forget this afternoon.

Scots v New at the castle on the hill. Scots might gain some hope from Kings win today and pray for some good fortunes against a New side that will be looking to bounce back.
