Yeah that’s what I meant by comments all hands on deck next week.

It’s kind of an ode to reds rugby in amateur days. I remember as a kid parents picking me up early from school so we could get out to ballymore abs Watch qld randomly play on a school night. Players would turn around and back up on Saturday

As a Sunnybank supporter, I wish them all the best and a new premier coach is very welcomed.

may be a great person, but not a great coach. Not proven to do anything with Sunnybank in my opinion.

3 years head coach, currently last, last 2years down the bottom as well. Struggle to see the upward trajectory.

I recall he placed a lot of blame on the players he had initially for poor results, then got a lot of new players and hello..still sitting last.. pls move on

Better than previous years yes.

the team he actually coaches, the premier team are last, and have been down the bottom the past 2 years under his guidance

his main responsibility is the premier team. How could you reasonably keep him on?

new premier head coach definitely needed and welcomed by many Sunnybank players/ supporters

If anything, a QPR head coaches position is determined by performance stats and the last few years at Sunnybank would read poorly in the win/loss ratio. I’d say, the overhaul will begin and T. Barker will have a fair role to play

Wins and losses will then doom the next Sunnybank coach too then. Maybe even the one after that. They aren't winning squat without rebuilding the club's playing group. When Roiri came in, Prems were largely in the same spot (definitely/admittedly winning more with less depth) and the colts were coming dead last and not attracting good young players to the club. Juniors were leaving to play colts elsewhere. The lowest side at the club was 4th grade and half a dozen of those blokes would play thirds and sometimes seconds each week as well. A lot of that has changed for the better. Not a finished product yet, sure. And the HC does influence that.
I do agree - they haven't won enough, and they should've iced both Souths and GPS but couldn't. But if performance stats are the only indicator for head coaches, you may as well just rotate the Bank and Norths coaches annually.
I think the club reviewing everything is a great decision by the way, but there is definitely some good amongst all the bad.

should've beat top of ladder easts too but was pipped at the buzzer

if you base a coach on their win and loss records: you are not evaluating right.

Everyone can see a playing group rallying around their coach and turning up Saturday.

not my call to make but I can see case for and case against another run around in 2026 for RR

someone crow me but i'm saying wests will win the comp this year.

They are dishing out the Ls and pretty comfortably.

They dont even have their full reds/drua contingent in yet. By the time they come in at the back end of the season there will be prems players playing down in 4th grade at this rate.

Performance stats are the main indicator for a head coach. However, a 3 year term is the reasonable standard to allow them time to influence this.
Also I would say the colts head coach has had more influence on colts improvement and the Senituli family more influence on recruitment/ retention/ performance for grades.

As we roll into the back end of the season, the 4th Finals spot seems to be pretty open. Obviously, it is Souths to lose and they'll have some good cattle returning from the Reds.

I still think the comp will be won by one of the teams in the top 3 though. Brothers still in the box seat for mine. They could have a couple of guys coming back particularly the likes of Tim Ryan and Josh Flook who should dominate at QPR level.

If the Drua players haven’t fronted as yet they won’t get the 6 games they need to qualify for finals.
And I think they would have missed the registration date cut off - early June I think.
