    Southern Inland Rugby 2015

I actually do not think that $168 for rego and insurance is a massive problem for the majority of the rugby playing community. The only real dilemma which I can see that there may be issues with the social 3rd graders, who aren't playing as consistently. Anyway, that is club specific and I am...

The time spent on rugby is a significant factor any potential first grade coach does need to consider. The smaller clubs or "country" clubs really find it tough, as they simply do not have the personnel at their disposal to have a coaching director type model. On the other hand though, there can...

Thanks for the reply @yourmatesam. However, sheds no light on the information I have, as neither yourself or Hugh were mentioned. Over.

@yourmatesam, Any inside scoop or rumors in regards to the Tah's head coach?? I heard that they might be looking at a Coaching Director type role as well as a 1st grade coach, if they could get their man/men?? A name mentioned in the conversation surprised me!

If SIRU are to participate in the Country Week Tournament, the rep scene around these parts needs an urgent overhaul. No more just selecting guys who put their hands up or like wearing the free kit around. Id start with ; 1. Completely independent coaching staff and selectors. 2. Selected...

Anyone confirm these couple of little whispers I've heard recently... James Whitely and Jack Bury to Waratahs. Stirling Ross leaving and Hood to retire from the Reddies.

http://www.dailyadvertiser.com.au/story/2681723/mccarthy-to-lead-ag-college-in-anniversary-year/?cs=149 Things seem to be going in the right direction for this set of students. So putting the jigsaw together I can only think of 3 official coaching announcements; Griffith - Seru Rogo Wagga...

    John I Dent Cup 2014

Just wondering if anyone can give me some details / info on Nick McCarthy? From my understanding he coached the Whites 2nd grade in 2014. There are reports down here in Wagga which suggest he is coaching one of the clubs down here. No official announcement, just some rather reliable rumors.

I am hearing that the Ag College lads are going to be strong. A new coach who will demand respect as well as attracting some players to the club, either by returning or new. They will always have depth as from my understanding, they pick up the vast majority of students from campus. I watched...

I know only a fool would start to make predictions in October for the following year, but the little bits and pieces which I am hearing indicate that the competition and the make up of various clubs is going to be strikingly different from the 2014 season. Ag College, Wagga City, Temora and...

I'm a little bit Swedish on the whole thing. I think there are faults from both ends, the SIRU clubs and the DA. I too do not buy the DA. I honestly can not remember the last time I bought it. I will look online, usually on a Friday and Monday fro the previews and results. The articles are...

The coaching positions for Wagga City were advertised in the DA a while ago. They will go through the process I'd assume, unlike other clubs in the zone where a wink and a nod from the right person will get you a gig.....A story for another day (Early December I am told) Wagga City would have to...

The little murmurs I've heard is that a push for change will come, however support is varying in each case and may not be enough to result in change. I'd be interested to see how a couple of these 'big' clubs handle this. As for player movements; its the silly season so there are countless...

Congratulations to all the winners yesterday & commiserations to the defeated. I'm sure that there were numerous post mortem conductted at various licenced premises around the zone last night! U/17's is a great effort for City. Wish them all the best. Wagga City are in 4 GF's in the Romano's Cup. The. Romano's.Cup. The Romano's Cup is a little like representing England in surfing, an achievement of sorts, but at the end of the day, no one is really interested or remembers it.

If memory serves me correct, first time a Wagga club isn't featuring in the main game since the Tri - Colours defeated the Bulls in 2006. No complaints though.
