The Paddies Battalion was okay last week but it was a bit sad that Old Boys contingent was louder than the student grandstands. Hopefully the Shoncliffe supporters are there in droves at 3:15 tomorrow to compete with a John Eales Grandstand filled with borders.

Anybody got any word on the 3rd XV comp this year? Last year the 3rds comp was far more exciting than the 1st XV... can we expect the same

Definitely not. But I think it shows that schools can be at least willing to participate outside their own comps.
