I wasn't a Creighton fan but he has been super impressive for the brethren in their finals run. He was sensational against Easts i thought again. As much as i hate the filth...it'll be a real shame for them to get to the final this week with a squad that's only half strength cos of Aus A...

Sheesh that is a red hot brothers team this week I don’t think there’s one backline player that played in the last game against easts this year. Means the second grade team will be red hot too. Got to feel for the 1st grade players that got dropped the last few weeks who have toiled all year...

Souths as a whole club have been super impressive in my opinion. If it wasn't for their 20's missing games, their first grade would of definitely been in with a chance for the finals as well. Colts program has improved out of sight as well

haha fair enough. If Easts lose this weekend and drop down to 3rd that wouldnt be the worst thing. They would then get the minor semi at home. Interestingly, Easts are the outsiders of the top 4 to win the premiership with Ladbrokes paying 6 bucks.

Does anyone know if you get anything for finishing first? Like prize money for the club (like they do in the nrl)? Cos you dont get a home semi.....so whats the benefit of finishing 1st? i guess a second chance in the finals thats about it really?

I'm just glad that Bond don't have home semi advantage for finishing 1st. Stuff travelling to Bond for the finals again. Not sure if that's been brought up in this forum before :p

coming into finals, can someone enlighten me on the rules for players dropping down in grade to play in finals? for example if a club has 1st grade miss out on finals, but 2nd grade make it....can you replace half of the 2nd grade team with 1st grade players? you must have to play a certain...

Going off purely on results this year.... i dont think thats going to happen. Last week Easts 2nd grade beat wests 40-10. When Easts played brothers at home, brothers beat them by something like 50 points.

that 2nd grade brothers team seem to be unbeatable now for the premiership. They were undefeated even before all these players come through. now the players that played majority of the season in prem grade getting dropped for the new boys will make them even stronger
