    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

If you've been playing Premier Grade (or Premier Reserve), and are still U19, you are able to play for the Prem Colts team if they have made it into the finals. It's the only grade where that can happen I believe.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

Norths are advertising for every coaching and management position in the club at the moment. The goal for the club next year is just to make sure we can get depth and quality in the teams, especially Colts and Premier Grade. Not saying that results are going to be rolling in, but the fact the...

    QLD Colts 2014

I think you were watching a different game, because Kite stood out on the wing the whole game, and from what I recall ran it once at Ryan, getting put flat on his backside. After that Kite hardly made a metre, taking the ground after contact everytime.

    QLD Colts 2014

Norths #8 was Lindsay Ward, #12 was Rawiri Eru and #13 was Riley Brennan. I know that the GPS #10 was Jordan Tkatchenko and #12 was Jason Tomane. Not sure about #2 and #7.

    QLD Colts 2014

Garrath Ryan I would say is a shoe in. He's had a pretty solid Premier Grade season, in a team that seems to struggle at times. Lindsay Ward hasn't had a bad game all season in Prem Colts, leading the team as captain. It's a shame that results haven't come their way, as they have had plenty of...

    AIC Rugby 2014

Last time I checked Confraternity Shield was run by the Queensland Independent Schools Rugby League, hence why Padua and Iona have both played in it. Padua is Franciscan and Iona I believe is Oblate.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

I'm just hoping it's the University Red Heavies that are taking on Norths this week and not the University REDS.

    QLD Premier Rugby 2014

Norths managed their first win of the season against strong finishing Wests at Sylvan Road on Saturday. The Norths First-Five, Sebastian Filipe opened the scoring with a great try which he also converted. Tonga Ma'afu, playing hooker this week after the demotion of Bart Ritchie, then fooled the...

    AIC Rugby 2014

CIC is not a competition, except for Swimming, X Country and Athletics (There they have divisions based on size). There are no premierships in rugby, however the GPS schools have broken off to form a Junior GPS competition. The rest of the schools, plus Nudgee Junior and MBBC, will continue to...

News that on July 5th, the Brothers vs Norths grudge match will be hosted by the Roma Rugby Club, with the curtain raiser being the Darling Downs A Grade match between Roma Echidnas and USQ Saints. Here is the release from North Brisbane Rugby Union: "Exciting news with the Round 15 Premier...

Hasn't he gone back to Wests?

    AIC Rugby 2014

I think it would be better for AIC to have a 14 week season for Rugby and Soccer, for 1st's and A's at least, between terms 2 and 3, plus maybe a final at the end. Have a proper and meaningful season that would give the Premiership to the best team in the competition rather than have a 3 way tie.

Tom O'Toole played his arse off. He's a class act. I reckon he'll go further than his brothers, maybe even Queensland Schools later (who were in the 2011 premiership team.)

    Exit from Super Rugby?

http://www.superxv.com/news/super15_rugby_news.asp?id=34796#.U2MSHrVArIU FROM RUGBY HEAVEN Hawke's Bay have pulled the plug on a short-lived bid to become Super Rugby's 15th franchise but not before a little dig at the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU). Hawke's Bay Rugby Union (HBRU) chairman...

    Exit from Super Rugby?

I support Man Utd because my family is historically from there (still have family there), and one of my cousins played reserves there for two years when I was little. He sent me a jersey and I've supported them ever since.

    Exit from Super Rugby?

NZRU haven't said anything, but a few unions have stated they are interested - most notably Hawkes Bay, Taranaki and North Harbour. However two or more unions would need to be involved for it be to be successful, hence why I stated that a Central North Island Team should be established. I...

    Exit from Super Rugby?

New Zealand could easily have another Super Rugby teams, (and be more so competitive than another South African team). Personally I would have a team based in the Central North Island, with collaboration between Taranaki, Manawatu and Hawkes Bay, which are 3 historic unions that are often...

they are defending champs for rugby XV's anyway. So technically its a different sport. Much like Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics.
