    Shute Shield 2013

Got to disagree on change rooms. Chatswood can't be that bad for a visiting side when compared to Penrith & Granville. Manly is also tough for a visiting team with half your side virtually in a separate room altogether! And don't even get me started on the chiropractor's nightmare that is...

    Shute Shield 2013

As a Gordon supporter can anyone tell me if the team Norths have picked for tomorrow, or Sunday, is the stronger? Tough call having to back up so soon after.

    Shute Shield 2013

Any news on when the catch-up games are being played? Seems like most of Sydney will be looking for grounds.

    Colts 2013

Uni have done a great job to be able to land exactly on the points limit for both games. I am actually hoping all is legitimate because that is quite a feat!

I'm sure they will be willing to accept over 30's if you're still prepared to pull on the boots! Clearly a ploy to get a younger bunch along that may be inspired to play with Gordon this season. Sure there are plenty of ex-players with money to assist the club but as is abundantly clear this...

Manly at Chatswood. Well, hopefully at Chatswood.

Yep, timing is interesting. A 2nd grade coach has resigned on the back of it, and Gordon will not be fielding its strongest 1st grade side this weekend with a couple of players deciding to sit the first game out.

I'd say club management had other things on their mind... John Briggs was sacked on Saturday, one week out from the start of the season.

    Shute Shield 2013

Since Stirling we've been short on big names of late so anything that might create a bit of excitement at training would help. Hell, even playing against Mika out at Granville was exciting for some of our blokes, almost like playing Tatafu himself!!

Dud played for us? Must have missed that game :p Bit like Pretorius aligning himself with Gordon last year... We didn't expect him to play, but our halfbacks were hoping for a couple of sessions with him. Sadly never saw him north of the harbour.

I wonder who this might be - "The review estimated one unnamed Sydney club provided tuition and accommodation scholarships worth half a million dollars to some of its players through a partnership with an academic institution." My personal view is that club rugby is for those who want to play...

Here's hoping Gordon can climb a little higher this year, but it will be tough. Interesting to see the Rats so far up your list. Other than Dave Harvey adding another pair of socks to his collection have they picked up many newcomers?

I can confirm that the Mingara & UTS deals are both completed.
