    Wallabies world cup squad selection

Well I said it is out there. Mitchell was the best attacking option at the back end of the season, during Tri Nations..not so sure. I agree with the Beale factor, however I beg to differ with the boot, I do think Gerrard has the more accurate kicking game in open play...and defensively, I...

    Shute Shield 2011

He is orginally from Sydney, was with Sydney Roosters or West Tigers when Randwick chased him, the year after that was with North Sydney Bears before being signed by the Brumbies, spent one season playing club here before being put on a full time contract. So what has he done, he has gone from...

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

Yeah thats a fair point. Although O'Connor isnt too bad in Defense, he is not a BARNES...my problem with Barnes is that it seems his natural instinct to attack has been coached out of him...instead his first option is too kick. I dear say with Barnes, O'Connor and Cooper in the squad, there wont...

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

Im going to throw it out there.... Genia, Cooper, O'Connor, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper), Vuna, McCabe, Gerrard. Vuna (give him a few more games) could provide a real XFactor out wide, something Australia has lacked since Roff, Campese etc. Gerrard just offers more than any other fullback in Australia at the moment...

    Shute Shield 2011

if he has been here for 12months, he should know all avaliable Super 15 contracted players in Australia. Seems odd he has no clue who Samu Wara is, does this mean he doesnt know much about Australian Players at that level at all?

    Rebels vs Hurricanes - 2011R06

Yeah he has started every game this season, thats what I was meaning..its good to see he is still holding a starting spot.

ACT 1st Grade Vs Sydney 1st grade

Yeah, you are so right Coach. All players play in the Sydney Comp for both sides.....and its not a good advertisement for the Sydney CLub Competition considering The Tahs and Brumbies are both crap this season.

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

Yeah your right, Wests touched us up good. We are missing Vili and missing the spark of Tyler Stevens. I will be the first to admit that I am wrong about Wests prospects this year. Dylan Taitoko-Simpson and Pama Fou will make a huge difference to their attack especially if the big forwards go...

John I Dent Cup - Canberra Competition -

Thats no good about Big Uelz but it is good to see Tau Taholo back playing Union after playing League, should form a good backrow along with Tim Tapara.

    Shute Shield 2011

Although its given that clubs pay players in Sydney and also a few in Canberra...I think you will find Samu Wara was always going back to Sydney regardless of what club he was playing for, or if he was getting paid (He gets good coin now being on a full time contract). Being from Sydney, his...

How is Easts shaping up against Royals this weekend? Any other trial news from any of the other sides?

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

I think he probably hasnt been given the good go forward ball that he thrives on, and also hasnt been given the space to create. I think if you look at what he does off the ball, that would be one of the main reasons he is still holding his spot, he does a lot of work off the ball at ruck...

    Rebels vs Hurricanes - 2011R06

Its great to see Jack Lam start again, he is playing well and holding his own in this level of competition. Be a good test for him against Delve, Lipman and Saffy...probably so far, the most brutal loose forward trio in defense....but thats my opinion...

    Brumbies vs Waratahs - 2011R06

I think alot has been made of the lack of form from AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper). I will be honest, I dont like the Wallabies but I do like AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and the poor bloke is getting hammered for lack of form, he is outside a bloke who currently, is putting his self interest ahead of the team. IN all honesty, if I was making the...

    rugby boys playing Toyota Cup

Have to differ with you there, Matt McGahan went to Mt Albert Grammar, part of the MAGS 1st XV that won all before them in the NZ Schools competition.

ACT 1st Grade Vs Sydney 1st grade

You all are probably right but i do think that Canberra club rugby, the top end anyway is quite strong. I have watched a lot of Shute Shield both live at the grounds and on ABC and there is an argument both sides, but I think the top end of Canberra Club rugby would compete with Sydney teams...
