Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

This is definitely the case as we saw last year when the Brumbies played Butler (a more traditional 6/8 at 7) and Fardy at 6. If you have someone as talented as Pocock over the ball at 7, does Fardy still need to be playing the same role he's been playing?

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Fixed it up slightly for ya ;). Jones can play both Lock and Six. Fardy can do also which allows them to shift if either Skelton or Simmons come off - only problem would be scrummaging ability. Hooper, Genia and Cooper offer a really strong X-Factor combo coming on late into the game. AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Surely the assistants would have some kind of influence in selections. You raise a good point though. I know that people are super supportive of both PAE and Holmes not without reason, but were either of them included in Cheik's Wallaby meeting things? Do we know if he's even considering them...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Not a bad argument to make, although I thought Alexander was good in last week's game and Holmes had a pretty average game last night. Overall Holmes is pushing hard for that spot..although I still think Alexander may be in the overall squad as he can play both sides adequately and has obvious...

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

You're right. The whole if we play better we'll win more theory is wrong. We're going to fucking suck. I've already said goodbye to the Bled and forget making it past the pool stages in the RWC.

Waratahs v Crusaders, round 15, Saturday 23 May @ Homebush

If the Wallabies pack can front up like the Tahs did last night from 1-8, we're a damn better chance of getting the Bled back and topping the pool of death.

    Mostly this though.

    Lions vs Brumbies @ Ellispark

Good to see there's some representation on the referee appointments from NZ and Australia. As we've seen over the last couple of years, I'm sure it will have no impact on the game and end result whatsoever.

    The Tuesday Top Five

The significant drop in refereeing standards this year and the impact this will potentially have on the world cup. I'm astounded on some of the results particularly in SA this year and the influence refs have had on the game. The age old excuse of 'well the team should've adapted/played to...

Brumbies v Waratahs, round 12, Friday 1 May

Good to see Dargaville back in the team. Pretty decent bench, only going to be better once Sio, To'omua, Arnold and White are at full health. Hopefully Tevita makes up for the shocker he had in the last Waratahs game - we really need him fit and firing.

Brumbies v Waratahs, round 12, Friday 1 May

The crimes are reporting that Smiler will stay at lock with Carter coming back into the starting lineup, Enever onto the bench and Arnold back to club rugby. Alexander is also back on for Smith, although I would've thought their performance last week warranted another start this week. Other...

Brumbies v Waratahs, round 12, Friday 1 May

I'd reinforce the two points above. Head to Bentspoke before hand, then walk around the corner and catch the bus from debacle to the stadium. After the game, head back again.

    Brumbies 2015

Hopefully they both get a bit more game time. Need to build that experience up for when he's gone next year and we don't get the halfback we're searching for.
