    NSW CHS Rugby 2017

A big congratulations to the NSW CHS team who competed in the St John Easter Rugby festival in Johannesburg South Africa this weekend. http://www.stjohnscollege.co.za/rugbyfestival/ In the 3 games the results were as follows: V Parktown lost 26-19 in a scrappy affair in wet conditions where...

    Boys heading o/seas to play

Wow what a great opportunity for the young man. I am sure he would have been a big prospect for Eastwood in the years ahead. Given the resourcing and development in a cashed up and functional UK development system this is a fantastic result for Nick and yet again a sad indictment on the...

    CAS Rugby 2017

Very early days at Hunters Hill. A loss to a good Marist Canberra side 3 tries to 2 and a loss by a conversion against TSS shouldn't be sounding the alarm bells just yet. Selectors seem to be giving a squad of 30 boys a fair opportunity to impress. Scrum was strong against Marist Canberra (...

SDW I too think that Waverley V Joeys will be a cracker 13 May at Hunters Hill. Hopefully there will be a good crowd there. Another one to watch will be Waverley V Kings on 29 April at Parramatta. Thanks sidesteppa for the footage, you are very generous with your time. Whitelinefever, from...

I would strongly encourage Waverley supporters to get out and see Wednesdays game against TSS. Having seen the game against Joeys yesterday, it will be a great barometer for Waverley as to their pre-season form and the year ahead.

I am pretty sure he played yesterday at outside centre. If it was him he was strong in attack and punishing in defence. A few more still in team rehab.

TSS 12 Joeys 10. 2 tries all TSS have a large forward pack and backs aren't small either! Will be interesting to see how they go against Waverley on Wednesday. Would be worth going out to see that game. Improved performance by Joeys. Credit to the joeys coaching team treating the match...

Following is a highlights package of Saturdays game Joeys V Marist. Well played Marist Canberra. Joeys scrum was a positive with a number of tight heads on the day. No doubt lots to work on but early days. Congrats to St Gregs who defeated Joeys 2nd XV 5 nil. I will be interested to...

Love it or hate it, it is what it is! As to whether it is "OTT" RugbyDimin8r101, I think you need to change your mindset. We have a 12 round "competition" of which the first 7 rounds incorporate GPS and CAS, then the final 5 rounds are intra association to crown their respective association...

Geez no pressure on the kid! How about we start by seeing how he goes seeking selection for View 1sts in year 10 first. That in itself would be a tremendous achievement.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2017

Quite extraordinary to see Matraville High had 5 players selected in Australian Schoolboys that year. With the Ellas and the depth of talent, that must have been a special squad. A coaches dream! Unsurprisingly Matraville also won the Waratah Shield that year. NSW II beat NSW I in the...

Riverview tend to blood their younger talent into Opens in U16s so in my opinion they weaken off in the U16s comp. Newington seem to have an influx of talented players in yr 10..... As to whether that belongs on another thread or not? as my cricket coach advised "let the ball go outside the...
