Congratulations to the 5 CAS boys selected in the u20s world championship squad (would’ve probably been 7 but unfortunately Phillipson and Hooper are injured).

I think barker are mixing things up with trials to prepare for this season. They struggled with injuries last season after playing some very physical trial games. It seems like this trial period has been all about building confidence for the players.

Does anyone know if barker are struggling with injuries or if they’re just rotating their team a lot? It will be interesting come round 1 what team they go with. A lot of last years 1s boys seem to be in barker 2nds and 1 or 2 in 3rds. Again have gone with a young team. Seem to get the...

They’ll still be selected for ISA unless they’re unavailable because of NSW u19s. They just wont be looked at beyond that

Yep they’ve also got some quality forwards as well. Osborn, Wilson and Moretti. If other forwards can step up they’ll be competitive. I stil feel that the depth of gps and probably CAS will be too much but it’s exciting to see such a competitive ISA.

I know it’s incredibly early but could isa potentially upset CAS and even GPS? Watched augs beat Joeys today and the amount of talent in the ISA this year is ridiculous.

Yes, this definitely wasn’t the team that played. There was another lad number 19 not sure if that’s one of the boys you listed. My guess was that they rested some blokes and the team we see against joeys will be pretty close to the team they’ll look to go with for the remainder of the season.
