    G&GR Fantasy Rugby Competition 2012

How many free transfers a week do we get? Is it three? Because injuries and things like below are really starting to hurt.

    Reds V Force Round 2 2012R02

Isn't Mitch Wade another "project hooker"? I thought he started in the back-row.

    Rebels 2012

Maybe Cipriani really has turned over a new leaf. He spent all of last season avoiding collisions, but now he can't get enough of them.

    2012 S15 Australia Conference

Waratahs didn't lose at home to the Reds last year. They won quite handsomely.

Unfortunately, looks like Burger is out for longer than initially thought. Lucky there is such depth in the back-row at the Stormers.

Unfortunately, the number of games he ends up playing will not be dependent on his skill, but on injuries to other Brumbies players due to his being contracted as part of the EPS.

You're right Spooony. Peter Grant is expected back from Japan in time to train with the team on Wednesday and will be considered for the game against the Sharks on Saturday.

No. He's torn his medial ligaments. Looks like four to six weeks.

And now I have the dilemma of trying to chase the points with my transfers this week, or sit it out and hope. As bad as it is watching Vito score badly this week, it'll hurt even more if I trade him and he scores big next week.

    Brumbies 2012

I am just as excited about young Mogg's response to this ridiculous rule in that quote Slim as I am about his play on Friday night. A mature response with not a dummy spit in sight.

    Blues v Crusaders Round 1 (2012)

He might get cited by the newly installed match review system. Might get a post-match yellow card.

    Brumbies 2012

I wasn't there, but the Samoan write-up on their website () says the Samoans were awarded two tight-heads. A front row containing 1. Jerry Yanuyanutawa and 3. Jonno Owen should do better. Again with the disclaimer that I wasn't actually there.

    Brumbies 2012

Jake White's comments regarding a lack of depth in Australian rugby would seem to be on the money (at least concerning the Brumbies). Samoa 'A' defeated the Brumby Runners 30 - 24.

Has been given one of those new-fangled post-game yellow cards by SANZAR

Disappointing indeed. Were you at the game Intruder? Could you tell us how/why it all unfolded?

    Brumbies V Force Round 1 - 2012R01

Couldn't agree more. I have been waiting for him to develop into the player we can all see he could be for a while now. Last night his kicking was wasteful and his long passing game (while finding space a few times) was slow and had a harbour bridge look about it. It may be unfair to...

    Sydney Colts 2012

Waldo Wessels injured his knee playing in the national academy (NSW based v QLD based) game, last Saturday I think. Hope this is what you were querying, because I don't have any idea as to the identity of the 2010 Aus Schoolboys centre going to Randwick.

Got to give it to the SARU, they're persistent. Utterly incompetent, but persistent.
