Not another "Four More Years Boys"

Australians and NZ are way to worried about having to have local players only in their comp. Imagine if Rebels had no foreigners, we'd be even worse. England has no quota on foreign players in the premiership, although it does have 12 teams to spread them over. But it hasn't weekend their...

Not another "Four More Years Boys"

we should play these nations on the way to europe or midweek between the big tests instead of some club team like munster or Leicester. More than competitive results against the big kids from Japan, Tonga and Samoa at a time when they have their good players means we're getting to the point...

    Rebels 2012

Cipriani i can agree with cipriani but JOC (James O'Connor) held more than his own in defense last year in WA. i think Cipriani will be doing something similar to Quade Cooper in that in defence he'd drop to fullback to cover kicks with KB (Kurtley Beale) and someone else would take his channel.

    Recruitment post World Cup

i want marius tincu in my team. he is an absolute machine for romania. James arlidge and Dth van der merwe would be handy buys for any pro team. i'd also like to see where the namibian players kotze and botha go to bigger things. kotze is an excellent goal kicker and distributor for an amateur...

    Rebels 2012

backline is going to be mean with three of the most exciting playmakers in aus super rugby atm. Still cannot believe they let JP go as we are lacking depth for quality out and out wingers, save for maybe betham. i hope they don't resort to moving JOC (James O'Connor) out wide as i think he is wasted out there...

    The most competitive RWC ever

This world cup has so far been incredible with no 50+ blowouts yet! I think we are approaching to the point were we need to be getting these emerging nations at least one game against a top tier nation a year. wouldn't it be good to have these nations that are based in europe play a midweek...

can't continue the good fight anymore, wide world of flogs banned me. they get pissy over any mention of len downs (melbourne programming manager/eddie's chief flog) who is basically the person responsible for not showing any league or union games in melbourne.

Super Rugby in Buenos Aires by 2015

wow never heard that before. i like the sound of foreign teams and would like to see a Pacific Islander or argentinean team based in aus as well if we continued with the current format. If they were played internally, i would be unsure of persisting with a conference system though instead of...

Super Rugby in Buenos Aires by 2015

This is what i see happening SH rugby. Super rugby effectively changes its structure from a league to a continental cup and countries go to their own domestic pro leagues with qualification spots up for grabs for the 'new' super rugby. Currie Cup Top 4 teams ARC (current super teams + extras)...

Having a structured membership is on our to-do list, but we need to do it in conjunction with the Rebels and AAMI Park to make it work properly. as long as it's not like the crap i have to go through with the BWB to get a melbourne victory active membership

Super Rugby in Buenos Aires by 2015

it's 6000km from buenos aires to cape town and 8000km to durban. that's comparable to playing in Pakistan if you were a western force fan. the distance is just as massive for a 'domestic' competition. imagine if an aus team had a game against the bulls one week and had to play in argentina...

Super Rugby in Buenos Aires by 2015

If we could finally get to the stage where we have individual tournaments and a H cup that would be awesome and probably the best model for including foreign domestic teams outside sanzaar.
