TSS 14A's still need a year or two to be a real chance. Nudgee scored 70 against them a few weeks ago in a trial. Nudgee will put that score on a few other teams as well. They were brilliant last year and some of the new players (Tau Tau ? at 8) and the new centre are top shelf.

Likes Received: 5 New Well I don't think any first XV team will go through undefeated although Churchie seem the most likely to achieve this. 1st XV - Churchie win with Nudgee and TSS close 2nds - NC win with BBC danger only on the back of the NC 16 results last year 3rds - NC only on...

16As - NC/ACGS/BBC NC will want revenge and have probably recruited a few more Leaguies into the boarding house to make sure. ACGS have will have instigated the "Sunnybank clause" 15As - ACGS/NC/GT Churchie Vs The Catholics here. 14As - GT/NC/TSS The Catholics V The Catholics here. GT will...

Which GPS team has the best coaching staff??? It maybe the difference in some tight games. All schools have outstanding coaches ;and strength and condition coaches;and sports phycs. Its really starting to look like who has the best recruitment program & the biggest warchest.

So after watching recent school/rep trials, has anyone revised their opinion on this year's GPS Premiership race? For me: NC/ACGS are front runners BBC/GT are up there - BBC need to settle on the centre combination. BSHS/IGS can rattle most sides - hope for no injuries. BGS will have a...

Morony has it all over Farrell by the length of a parkgravity #1058 Dear Mr Under Done Thankyou for your lesson in rugby specifics. I will read your posts in the future as you are obviously a fair ,unbiased person who praises all good players. I will also watch Terrace this year with their...

Now that is a big athletic pack-hence Hewitt to 5 . Very surprised Morony is at 7 ahead of Farrell Morony is a good scavenger but Farrell is an all round the park athlete .

Another Qld boy lost.!!! Rebels Sign Placid 19 year old Jonah Placid will leave the Queensland Reds after he signed a 2 year deal with the Melbourne Rebels. Placid has been a top performer for the Australian under 20's and Australian schoolboys in recent years. Rebels coach Tony...

lets hope winning is more than just how much $ has been spent. Great comment & I hope you are correct:but the evidence from NSW GPS comp does not support what you saying as notwithstanding the so-called moratorium on importing: 1) SSHS and SGS do not play at 1st xv level any more...

Thus it is an unfortunate by-product of a semi-professional competition that a lack of heavy funding into the respective rugby programs leads to less boys playing. That's not to blame the schools either. Some schools in the GPS have more money to move than others, some have a very strong cash...

Great game. I can't recall any kicking at allWell Done to BBC 16A's they should be proud of them selves. Beating a state high team who had already played a full game in the B's (being nice and giving the BBC B's a game). then running on tired in the A game. Losing players due to 1st XV and...

New Yesterday I was either going to watch St Peters v Ashgrove or BBC v State High. I'm pleased I went to Toowong. And excellent contest and the two teams ran themselves ragged. Evenly poised at half time with State High up 3 tries to 2. Their fun stopped there with BBC running in four...

12 this year seems pretty lifeless, not at all like last year with Quick, Tanuvasa, Wathen, Fielea. Fullback could go to Dorrough, Smit, Ngamu/Ikitau, but Ponga if available is a chance too all god points King. I see Conrad Quick is now the youngest player in the Aussie under 20 team and he...

Brave man picking BBC this early out, wasn't it supposed to be TSS's year in 2013? Anything can happen over the GPS season, as we've clearly seen. Spot on. Remember last year TSS got eight(yes-8) in Qld teams and still did not win GPS. BBC will find a way to shoot itself in foot -it's track...

BBC still has a few positions to be sorted out, i think front row, maybe 1 lock, centres, and maybe 1 wing. alvin purple, Yesterday at 10:31 PM Report #668 It seems clear that in BBC : 1) at least 2 boys who played every 1st xv match last year may not get picked in number 1 team...

13 boys from BBC in GPS trials. The whole forward pack that played against Nudgee plus Christianson. Also 9,10,15 11 plus Ikatou. Why no Smith???-he was the most destructive runner against NC & IGS. Good for BBC but bad for GPS.Did the Broncos put a stop on it?If so,why is Ikatou playing?

    12. Jayden Sua 13. Izzie Prease Wow that is firepower. Why did they have to recruit Sua. Perese was already the best player in comp. Wonder if any new "full fee paying students"(sic) will turn up in the next couple of months this year.Remember Richie A last year!:)

"You must have eagle eyes GSP. Also number 10 from BBC is not in the reds 18 squad, Tiontian Raoren is from W.A but was never selected into the squad, only Jayden Ngmanu. Sam Hauser, Yesterday at 8:37 PM Report " That is probably why he said "all but BBC 10" are in that squad. #629
