Does anyone know if the ARU has managed to wrangle a naming rights sponsor for the Aussie leg of the 2014 Super Rugby competition? I did a bit of googling but could only find old news (about FxPro withdrawing their sponsorship in 2012 when they were originally supposed to be naming rights...

No, I didn't. I tweeted @BLK_Sport yesterday but haven't heard back yet. I was under the impression that Rugby Reg worked for the Reds, but I guess not.

@rugbyshirtwatch tweeted me back this: "No idea, the pic on our review is the final jersey that's with retailers. Maybe the BLK one is a render or non-final design?" So the confusion continues. Do we have any Reds insiders here who can shed some light on the two-jersey situation?

Rugby Reg tweeted back to say he reckons that the Red's will wear the version with the star in their games whereas the version with the Red-Gold-Blue bar will be the version sold to the public. If that's the case, I'm not sure where the navy blue collar comes into it. Will they really sell one...

That's funny, I was just thinking the same thing earlier today and I tweeted Rugby Reg, BLK Sport & Rugby Shirt Watch to ask them about it too!

Nevermind, I've answered my own question by emailing the reds membership office - the $99 jersey offer will be added to the Reds Rewards page some time in the near future and members will receive an email about it. They wouldn't be any more specific than that.

Does anyone know when the 2014 jersey goes on sale? I saw in the membership brochure on the redsmembership.com.au site that members can buy a 2014 BLK jersey for $99 but the Red's Shop on redsrugby.com.au only has 2013 stock.

Got my 2014 Membership today - Gold section, right on the tryline and only a few rows back from the fence! Can't wait til March 7 now!!!
