If I remember correctly we scored the same or more tries in at least 2 of those games and once again lost the penalties and referee management. Like in the Welsh game we have the ability - just need to work on temperament and game management.

It’s pretty clear from this still the balls in genias hands off the ground. (First frame as he picks it up) I think he’s just onside. Either way it’s a line ball and not a howler. Genia was just too slow.

The whole game was actually pretty positive. Aside from Genia and Foley no one really played badly. We dominated most facets except referee management As happens so often we scored more tries but still managed to find a way to lose. Frustrating, but that’s Australian rugby at the moment.

One on one I think you’re right. But I suspect he could see there was a Fijian in support and was trying to stop the offload as well. Hence a line which was more in front and a higher body height in the tackle.

Awesome - he probably never thought of that. Perhaps you could nip across and educate him. Maybe even help with some practice drills over the next few weeks. They probably haven’t done them at training.
