    Agree, He’d be even more important in today’s game the way they tend to kick away possession, at least 70% of All Black tries the past decade cone from counter attacks. Having someone like Burke to start counter attacks or at least take safe options would be invaluable.

    Correct, Eastwood were demoted to second division in the very early 80's and recalled John Ballesty as coach. He recruited a couple of kids from the local high school (Epping Boys about 1km up the road) called Tynamen and Papworth and they were back in the top grade where they have remained since !

    I worked in Western Sydney for the Bulldogs and Panthers for a number of years, the kids out West don't care for Union as it's not on free to air. They need to get Super Rugby on free to air in prime time or they will never win the west thus the ratings.
