RWC: AUS v WAL (Twickenham): POOL A; 2:45am (AEDT) Sunday 11 October

That was Galumay and I. It's been reported that he wasn't cited. I'm surprised how much attention it got though. Not sure how much you had to do with that!

    Good doing business with you!

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

Something definitely needs to be done about the holding back. Half the suspensions this year have come from reacting to it. And SOB is gone for all money here. They can't institute anything now this close to the end of the Cup, but I'd be looking very seriously next year at automatic 1-week bans...

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

This turned out perfectly for Aus. Kiwis have to play France, and Ireland lost half their team for the tournament. Now we've gotta choke to miss out on the final and the Kiwis might not be there to beat us!

RWC QF 4 AUS v SCO (Twickenham) 19th Oct 0200 AEDT

Agree with MHCS team. I wouldn't be starting Izzy and Pocock at less than 100% here. It drastically increases their chances of being rubbed out for the remainder, which is a pointless risk given they add almost nothing extra than their alternatives if they are on one leg. Admittedly if we were...

RWC: IRE v FRA (POOL D) Mon 12th@2:45am

Not sure who to support here. On the one hand, Ireland would be our toughest opponent and most likely to stop us progressing to the final. So France winning would be better. On the other hand, France are much more likely than Ireland to knock out NZ in the quarters. So Ireland winning would be...

Absolutely. An illegal gagr gambling caper is long overdue.

Looks like he's trying to get his foot out. Contact incidental. Citing a 20-1 chance.

Nervous wait on Izzy and Pocock. And plenty of others will love the rest. Cheika will almost be tempted to rest a few guys next week given how beaten up they are and with the 2 biggest games in 4 years following. Not sure whether that's sensible or complacent. But plenty of time to think about...

Feel privileged to witness that. One of the gutsiest defensive performances of all time. Proud to be an Aussie!

No idea. Fardy is prob our best now.

No Simmons is a mind-boggler. I would have bet my house he was the first lock named each match. No surprises the rest. Should be too good for Wales.

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

Yeah I assume they are in the 24-31 bracket. But Hanson's inclusion rectifies a potentially devastating selection error. Carter gives us an alternate if the lineout deteriorates any further. And now that McMahon is a good chance of being included on the bench, Skelton wasn't an option anymore...

Good call. Squad has improved thanks to those injuries.

I'd bring in Hanson and Jones. Have they announced replacements yet or are Horwill/Dennis just guesses?

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

I'd say the team vs England will be the same as against Fiji, with either McMahon or McCalman replacing Skelton on the bench (whether he's injured or not). And I'd say that was the plan all along.

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

I assume Mumm is the reserve lock so we'll still have 3 jumpers when he comes on. So McCalman's lineout use will presumably be a pretty minor consideration against McMahon for the other bench spot. It would be far more significant if Skelton was the reserve lock.

RWC: AUS v URU (Villa Park, Birmingham): POOL A; 9pm (AEST) Sunday 27 September

McMahon and McCalman were excellent. That's gunna be a tough battle for one bench spot. Beale was probably 3rd pick. Not sure anyone did enough to force a starting berth. Mitchell for Horne maybe - depends how much risk you want to take. Offers a lot more in attack than Horne but it often...
